Something about my picks prevents the game from holding under in the later innings, even if several runs ahead.
This one wasn't really a bad beat. It was pretty much on approximately 8-9.5 run pace most of the way. But of course it fell the wrong way because we have an under pick on it.

Then a tag-out at the plate on the next AB, and it's 1st and 2nd with 1 out, still 4-3. Then Hand struck out the next guy, but walked Scooter Gennett, and bases were loaded. Then he almost corked off a wild pitch, and the catcher made a tremendous save. Then he induced a fly-out to end the game.
I got lucky on this one.
So it appears these days I win the ones I'm supposed to lose, and lose the ones I'm supposed to win.
