Last time I was here, was playing BJ, put down $400, got two 5s, doubled down at $800, got a 9, dealer got 18, collected my $1600. Was dating a dingy blonde at the time, grabbed her hand and walked out.

And those 2018 pics just came up in my Facebook feed. I’m sure those stickers are still there today. I took these pics…

Here now, this place is in the Arizona side and a big traditional Mexican seafood place, so I recommend it for a date type dinner as it’s more of a specialty and less traditional Mexican. I will comeback at night for some shrimp fajitas in the future. GOOD advice, Druff would approve. This place is very busy and popular. My next review will be of Tacos and Beers.

Finally made it to Tacos and Beers and ordered 3 tacos- steak, chicken and pork. I did not dress them up. Service, ambiance and food is an A grade. They also do outside grilled chicken like El Pollo Loco. As a new local, I’ll def be back here on a regular basis.

When Druff visits me here, I’m going to bring him to Tacos and Beers- good food and easy on the jew wallet.

New bridge to close for improvements on Laughlin side. Bridge closes Monday-Thursday only for two-week safety upgrades in Nevada.
Beginning March 24, Laughlin Parkway leading to the Silver Copper Crossing, the bridge linking Laughlin and Bullhead City, Ariz., will be closed to automobile traffic from Monday at 6 a.m. to Thursday, April 3, at 6 p.m. as crews work to install vital safety features in the area. The bridge and adjacent roadways will reopen to serve weekend traffic Thursday evenings through Monday mornings. The project is estimated to take two weeks to complete.
The 3.5-mile roadway project in Clark County will add ten 200-foot-long emergency turnouts to Laughlin Pkwy, four for eastbound traffic and six for westbound traffic. The 724-foot-long bridge rests 35 feet above the river and carries one traffic lane in each direction. On the south side is a multi-use trail for bicyclists, runners, and pedestrians. There is no work to be completed in Bullhead City.
“Helping to ensure the safety of our residents and the traveling public is an important focus of mine,” said Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft. “We have consulted with Bullhead City, Arizona, to coordinate the impact on the region and look forward to the project being completed within the time frame.”
The Laughlin Pkwy road closure will start at Needles Highway, just north of the Fort Mojave Indian Reservation on the Nevada side, and extend across the bridge to Mohave Valley Highway, where it intersects with the Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse on the Arizona side.
Motorists are encouraged to use the Laughlin Bridge.
I recently called the new (California based) gas station/truck stop listed phone number and they actually texted me back. The new 76 truck stop should open by mid-July 2025. This is good news as there is NO real retail establishment in the town. The new gas station truck stop will be it's main source of income. The residents will finally be able to buy gas, snacks, drinks, ice, etc.

I honestly dont know how Esmeralda County can pay their employees with no real solid income other than (poor citizens) property taxes. But there is no real infrastructure there and if you have a legit medical emergency and call 911, you will have to wait for an air ambulance/helicopter. This will be interesting to watch and see change as I drive through there in the future.
It was also posted on Facebook that they will have EV chargers at the 76 truck stop-
