Nailed me
But in my defense of my food remarks, it was more of a general statement than anything.
Yes there are good places to eat, but I missed my franchise food.
La bufadora has some amazing little spots to eat....as does rosarito for that matter.
But IN GENERAL... The food in Mexico sucks. I am still trying to put on the weight I lost over the last 18 months because I'm tortilla'd out.
Like I just said....
Yes there are some great places to eat in Baja...Puerto nuevo for example which is known as 'lobster village' and a haven for tourists who have no problem dropping 35 bucks for dinner
What I was trying to say is that in general the food fucking sucks... There are no franchises. Even the McDonald's and burger King and Carl's Jr are using Mexican quality beef...which is straight up nasty.
I was at a FoodCo last night getting some groceries, and just amazed how vastly superior the quality was in comparison to the low level crap being pawned off on the Mexican populus.
This also rings true for the merchandise at the (ahem) 'Walmart' stores in Rosarito and Ensenada...complete joke.
In closing.....pay Vegas the 500 you owe him you bet welching fat fuck
What happened to the dog and jeep?
Only one I think
For my expired registration and not registering my Grand Cherokee within 90 days in the state of Nevada
I guess my criminal record isn't so squeaky clean after all
Better alert the department of homeland security
Now that your back, just to let you know, someone offered to stake you and Druff as a team in one of the wsop of events. Would be great content.
I could see this being true for sure. Probably a few amazingly good restaurants, but overall lack of diversity and poorer quality groceries. So at first the newness of the good places leaves a great impression. But over time you get burned out on the good places and are missing the variety of options.
The food is great in Puerto Vallarta.
It's always a shithole on Tyde's way out.
Rinse and repeat.
I have recently thought about calling in.
I am pretty much what you see in the forums. Kinda dry, little bit of an edge or prick IRL. Not the sort that would bring the hits as the focus of a call. I get razzed by kids for speaking the Kings English. If I hear Walter White again there is gonna be trouble.
Prolly more suited to a guest host. React and riff during latter half of show. Thought about reaching out to Drexel for an audition.
Sending my wife out to Vegas Friday to check up on kids. I just wasn't feeling it and decided to pass. However a bucket list item is to one day break bread with Drexel. He has a curious mind and can roll from one topic to the next in a fluid way. His dinners with guests must last hours.
He doesn't run so well with guests in Vegas so I gotta cook up some kind of bond I can post.
This or similar might do it.
