I have a question for you guys when the Broncos scored their touchdown. Why did the refs check for a fumble as the player hit the ground? Isnt a clean catch in the inzone an automatic touchdown?
True story:
I was wavering on the OKC under today. Finally I decided I would bet it if it was still at 204 or higher.
I checked and saw two things:
1) It had fallen to 202
2) The game had started earlier than I remembered it would, so it was already going
Then there were just 38 points in the first quarter and 53 points when the game was at the 7 minute mark in the 2nd, so it looked like it was going way under. I was kicking myself.
Then there was a huge flurry of scoring in the 4th, and I think the total finished at something like 212.
I didn't see what you're talking about, but the answer to your question is no. If a player catches the ball and as part of the same motion falls to the ground, the player must maintain possession and control of the ball all the way through the process of falling to the ground and coming to rest. That includes while falling out of bounds and includes plays in the end zone, and simply catching the ball in the end zone is not an automatic touchdown under those circumstances, in the way that the play ends immediately and a TD is scored if a runner breaks the plane of the end zone.Quote:

What also sucks is that I was wavering between taking Atlanta +9 or Sac +11, then talked myself out of Atlanta and into the Sac bet.
Looks like Atlanta was the better choice.
I think I'm done with these Sac big underdog picks. The last one worked out, but this one got crushed mid-game, and they just suck so bad that it's just too hard to count on them not getting blown out.
Washington couldn't hit 3s, and Sac still got blown out. Starting 5 just killed the Kings.
I actually had this thought when hesitating to go with them today, but went with it anyway, and somehow convinced myself that Atlanta wasn't going to cover yet another fairly big dog line (which they've been very good at doing as of late).

Looks like rollinx420 was probably right about Minn. They are killing Utah early.
This had all the hallmarks of a trap line... deceptively low favorite line on the much better team, tons of pubilc money coming in on the favorite and the line actually getting slightly better for the favorite, as if Vegas wanted to encourage even more betting on them.
Normally I would totally have faded the Wolves here, but the Jazz are just so crappy lately that I had no faith they would keep it close. So I just stayed away.
Oh, and Atlanta just blew a double-digit lead and are now up by 1 with 15 minutes left in the game. If they lose by more than 9, I'll feel good.
Those who had Knicks +5 had a major scare, as they blew a yuuuuuuuuuuge lead and almost didn't cover, but thanks to two missed LBJ free throws with 5 seconds left, the Cavs only won by 3.
Atlanta tried very hard to give the game away at several points, but they ended up right back in it, and are surely going to cover. This one stings because I actually typed in Atlanta +9 on here, then erased it and replaced it with Sac +11.
So nice when these Monday and Thursday night games go over like clock work.

I would be careful with all the Unders. You were running hot for a while with some weird low scoring 4th Qs and looks like that isn't happening right now.
Also, I don't know if this is true, but it seems scoring has been way up for the most part the last week or so. I think teams have started to get used to their new pieces and setting rotations, and basically playing better.
Even games featuring low scoring teams like Utah, Chicago and Sacramento seem to be easily going into the 200s lately.
I bet Timberwolves U49 wins on the advice of Simmons/House. Not looking like it is going to be a winner.
I also bet Utah over (I think 42). I think the Gobert (and lesser extent Exum in preseason) injury is going to be a big problem with this one.
Went 1-1 on my posted plays.
I actually bet 2nd half of the Cleveland game O108. It looked like it had no chance until Korver started going crazy, and then it went over easily. Too bad Knicks couldn't get that last rebound and have a chance for OT, so game could go over too.

Use all that as revenge and take their money by crushing them at NBA, trust me I know all about their payout issues, but that was back when you could only cashout by getting a check and the max was $2500 and it took like 2-3 months to come. It was ridiculous to say the least but now you can get bitcoin withdrawals with a max of 5k, not exactly optimal but good enough to want to still play there and win money in their sportsbook, they also have the best deposit bonuses of anywhere that i know of. No rollover, its basically just extra money that they give you to bet with.
