Proud boys been around for probably close to 5 years. Started by Gavin mccines who is a major figure in alt media. He started them somewhat as a joke and it got out of control to the point of having to disown the group. The basically exist as a counter to the toxic masculinity movement. Think of fight club for guys who were rejected growing up.

Honestly their threat level is played up. I mean ya they are violent in the sense of street fights. Do they present a true danger? Probably not at this point. They probably have a few crazies waiting for a race war but fbi has been pretty lax with classifying domestic terrorists since insane clown posse made the list....

Rasmussen release poll that Biden up on trump by 8 points. Very unusual as typically they only had Biden by a pint or so. This was also before the debate. Real test will be seeing their next one in 2 weeks to see if this was just an artifact or actual trend. Rasmussen uses different polling methodology so it’s unusual to see a result like this from them.

A professional pollster has told how they jimmy the polls so Biden is always shown in the lead. On the republican side Trump is weakest among suburban republican women so they over sample that group. On the Democrat side Trump is strongest with the rural "Reagan democrat" types so they underpoll that group.

So Biden is always shown in the lead.

From your own personal experience, do you think enthusiasm from 2016 Trump supporters has waned in 2020?

I know from my own interactions with Trump people, they are even more fired up today.

I don’t think we should be underestimating the enthusiasm gap. Trump’s base may not hate biden, but they absolutely worship trump like nothing we have ever seen before.

100% of them will be voting

It's off the charts everywhere I've been around the South and Midwest. Missouri where I'm at now is somewhat of a swing state, for example, and public Trump support is probably 100 to 1 here over Biden. Normally we would be talking about a landslide victory with this level of enthusiasm, but I personally think it speaks more to scary levels of Balkanization than a hidden number of Trump voters this time. He has lost the centrist boomer vote and sensible boomer Republican vote. I wouldn't be that shocked if he wins, but the numbers just aren't there. The national polls are tightening, but the state polls have weirdly gotten worse for him.
