You must have missed the reports were his host claimed that he kept asking/demanding for that specific suite. Why would he do that if he could just get it for 2k? That’s ok though, just be an asshole.

I posted in this thread alerting Jsearles at the new posibility of being a privately contracted bag inspector in Las Vegas. There would be no better place to work than Wynn/Encore. I've literally never seen a bad looking woman in that entire casino complex. A girl that has four guys chasing her in her hometown would get ignored like a mother fucker at Wynn/Encore

According to NBC News, he was gambling up to $160k, at about a $10k to $30k clip each session, leading up to the week, and the Daily Mail reported he spent up to $9500 gambling the evening before the massacre took place. His brother also claimed he could lose a milly, and it wouldn't significantly hurt his bankroll.....although that could be bullshitting at this point from either Stephen telling him that to cover up his real losses, or the brother saying that covering up the fact his brother was a degen fuck up.

He initially tried to target the Life is Beautiful Festival from September 22-24, but couldn't get the room he wanted at The Ogden, so he switched his plans to the Mandalay Bay and this country festival.

So it looks like the country festival wasn't targeted for the type of music or its fans, but he simply wanted to shoot a massive crowd of people.
