The Aboriginal people of Australia have several hundred thousand square kilometers of land, about 10% of the country at last count and increasing.

They have special rights and special laws, in the future they will have even more land and rights. They build casinos and receive royalties from activities like mining. Kinda similar to your own indigenous natives.

It's not the perfect solution, but at least they live in the country they consider home... not that this means anything to you.

I'll admit I don't quite grasp the Muslim or Arab mentality, but I do try very hard to put myself in their shoes. They wrongly or rightly view Israel as illegitimate, and accepting refugees and giving them nationality legitimatizes Israel, something they refuse to accept.

I do understand where you are coming from I think, and I agree in a sense that it would be better to relocate them somewhere they can contribute to society and live in peace, but they don't want this. They are fighting for their very existence, and you cannot take away a mans right to suffer for a cause they believe is righteous, less you kill them.

If this is true (and it probably is to an extent) Israel should immediately forcefully march the Palestinians all the way to the Jordan border and shoot anyone that tries to cross back. Why should Israel live with a hostile enemy this close that refuses to compromise at all when they have the means to neutralize this threat? Sounds to me like you are making a persuasive argument for why Israel should be much harsher than it is and should have been a long time ago. Maybe Israel's fatal flaw is it is too kind and compassionate.

Also, I don't think Israel is ever going to give up. I think they have dug in for good. They have nukes and a ton of other advanced weaponry they are ready to use. I think the world ends in nuclear war if anyone ever seriously attacks Israel. I am not exaggerating at all. I think this is exactly what will happen. Your description of what would happen is probably true in a past age. But the weaponry is so strong now, it is a complete game changer.

My understanding is Israel was actually completely ready and willing to using nukes in one of the earlier wars, I think the 1967 one, and the only reason they didn't was because they were so successfully using conventional weapons they weren't really threatened.

You think the Palestinian mentality is fatalistic. The Israeli one is much worse. They are the remnants of a population that has spent the last 2000 years as a displaced diaspora, survived a mostly successful attempt to exterminate them 70 years ago, and are finally are back "home." Then throw in all the religious nonsense that a lot of people believe on top of all that. For good or bad, Israel is here to stay and any attempt to change this will probably be the end of the world. That is the reality of the situation.

At this point no-one but complete religious fanatics really envisions removing Israel. The Palestinians are just being used as fodder in geopolitical games.

I'm disappointed that the Palestinians aren't constantly urged to relocate to elsewhere for free, America will pay for it. Though, I do think it is extremely unlikely that The Kremlin was behind this.

I just saw a news bulletin on this matter. The pretty lady newsreader said he was a Russian double agent, and then went on to say this was the first time Australia had kicked out a diplomat since the Syrian ambassador was expelled after the Syrian chemical weapon attacks.
That made me chuckle, he wasn't a double agent for starters, he was a British spy who got caught in Russia. The bit about the Syrian chemical weapons made me realize just how terrible our news in this country is. The attack in 2013 was especially dubious as the region that was gassed had just about been taken from the rebels, it was pretty much the point in which things started going bad for the rebels. And the later attack was committed when the Syrian government clearly had the upper hand. Why would they use CW's at this point?... kinda surprised Obama didn't send troops in 2013 but I feel it would have gone down very badly for him once it was proven it was the rebels.
Oh yeah, if the news ever quotes "The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights" you can just about guarantee you're being fed nonsense. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights is a one man band operation run by a Syrian dissident out of his flat in Coventry. :)

Back to Salisbury, the Russian government had nothing to gain from doing this. He wasn't a threat and he had no value to MI6. In fact killing him has a clear negative impact on any future trading of spies. The Russians had pardoned him, he'd been debriefed many years ago and was given a pension from MI6. Even a rogue element is unlikely in my opinion. Drawing parallels to Litvinenko is not even close to relevant.
He was simply a well known ex spy of no value to anybody, a soft target who was very easy to find.
I'm not convinced on anything yet, but when I see no due process and everyone jumps to the same simple conclusion, I know something isn't kosher. Alice in Wonderland type stuff where time runs backwards and they punish before the crime... that would be all the better, wouldn't it.
