The show has a chance to save itself and be the goat by the end. Every show has meh seasons and the questionable seasons in this show still had some fucking great episodes. The conversation amongst fans has definitely gone relatively stale since last season which is weird because were approaching quite possibly TVs biggest question/ending. I could quickly forget the months of onscreen samwell/dany/whoever if this ends in some semi believable ice creature bloodbath with whoever on the iron throne as long as they get there via onscreen greatness
My money is unfortunately on sonatines thread title panning out but its no sure thing.
honestly i doubt its going to be meh at this point. but yeah, having a ufc fighter in it is corny as fuck tho and really does chaff my tits.
so this is interesting... hbo are holding off on signing season 8 officially because the showrunners are starting to seriously wonder if 6 eps is enough to wrap this bitch up.
im all for it. i think they can get away with taking their feet off the gas and doing more world building. especially if they are considering a spinoff.

I love GoT and read all the books after seeing the first series. Unfortunately GRRM is a lazy fucker who prefers lapping up the adulation than actually getting the job done. The Dunk and Egg stories would be a good choice for a spin-off. The three stories could easily be extended into a first season.
