Why have the lower seeded team play 0 games at home and 3 on the road? What's the point? If the travel for 1-1-1 is too burdensome, why not make it 1-2 or 2-1? Bizarre.
Even more bizarre is the fact that both visiting AL teams swept it 2-0, and the Mets were on the way to doing the same until blowing the lead late.
The only higher seeded home team to dominate was the Padres, but that was mainly because the Braves were injured and tired.

Look around sports in general, ticket prices are way up, even on the resale market. For all the talk of money being tight and inflation people are buying sports tickets. NFL prices are crazy especially for the teams that have larger fan bases and travel well.Quote:
