If the Merrill ROY bets died vs Cin last week he is just piling the dirt on the grave now.

Shame to have such a long-shot ticket go up in flames.

Interesting that everyone was there on time and stayed throughout. I agree that's unusual, even for a division clincher. I've seen that for the postseason (for obvious reasons), but never a regular season game.

Are you going to playoff games this year?

I've also probably been to approximately 100 Dodgers games in my lifetime. Maybe 120, actually. This year I went to 5 regular season games, though one was in Oakland. I believe the 5 games was a personal record for me (in the regular season). I have never lived close to the stadium, so it's always been a pain in the ass getting there.
lol. Those were my seats. My brother has them for 20 games a year. If I go to the playoffs, I’ll probably be buying my own though. On another note, it was the first MLB game I’ve gone to with the pitch clock. A huge improvement in my opinion.

As much as I want to watch him pitch to Soto-Judge, Pirates should just sit him now, end it with the shiny 1.99 ERA.
    Make that 1.96

I’ll be at Coors for Rockies-Dodgers tonight, and our seats are *absolutely* in play for an Ohtani home run ball.

If I can figure out how to upload pictures I’ll post.

Freeroll here if I catch one.

Homerun ball is a multimillion dollar free roll.

I did Ohtani HR & walk + Dodgers win for +415 for fun.

Padres Arraez is out for the balance of season I believe. His thumb is fucked up. He has sucked anyway

Ohtani has shot at batting title here.

    Buckle up.

Did yummymoto have the GA o line flu too?

Kike’s HR landed about 15 feet to our immediate right.

Hope you get a ball, buccos.

I actually considered doing what you're doing, had Ohtani come back to LA without getting to 50.

But I hate the bleachers in LA so much, it was hard to do it. All the gang members, drunks, etc... I wouldn't take those tickets for free. I imagine Denver is probably different.

Where I sit in Dodger Stadium, everyone is well behaved. And in the parking lot, nobody is gonna bother a middle aged white guy in a Dodgers shirt. But in the bleachers, it's a shitty experience.

Anyway, Ohtani is on an absolute tear, and I think he's gonna pass Arraez, now that the latter is out of action.

Speaking of Kike' Hernandez, he's one of those guys who is either super clutch or an automatic out, with not much in between.

Recently he's in clutch mode. Hitting .313 over past 26 games with several HR.

But other points he's just awful. Like when I say an automatic out, I really mean an automatic out.

Hopefully he stays this way for the postseason.

Tommy Edman has been solved. He’s a zero now.

Kike can see with the glasses

Keirmaier just break his forefinger sliding into second?

I wouldn't say that. He was hitting well up until the past 2 weeks. Might be a slump. Good pickup for the Dodgers, even if he ultimately doesn't work out. They gave up little, and Edman has at least a semi-high potential upside.

Ohtani is .310 and holds the batting lead

As always I’m shooting premature. Need .314

This Skenes vs Merrill thing for ROY reminds me of Harris vs Strider two years ago.

Hard to guess who will win.

Skene’s accomplishments were historic and he has a better war than a position player. It’s over

I mean you guys are all smart, so duh, but Royals running on fumes. Fade. Decent starting pitching but they're all tired. Ragans FB down 3 miles last start. No hitting. Decent closer but the rest of the pen blows too.

Fade. Sad. Still, on the way up after 106 losses last year. Might be ok for an over next year.

Yeah they almost blew it but skated by because the Twins were shit.

Lucky for them, the 2nd and 3rd AL wildcards were not very strong this year.

NL far more competitive for those spots. And that's despite the AL getting all those free wins against the White Sox.
