Sacrificing Eovaldi to keep the rest of the starters and pen arms fresh was huge even in a loss they were in a great spot to do this.
In the end the Red Sox have way better hitters and Dodgers lack offense.

One thing I will try to digest is why the Red Sox pitching staff all looked like Pedro Martinez against the Dodgers.
Guys like Machine Gun Kelly, Heath Hembree, Barnes and let’s face it - Price. These are guys who made you squirm in your seat when they took the mound. Dodgers made them look like heroes.
There was a whole narrative before the series that the Sawks bullpen sucked. They kinda did.
Dodgers launch angle, can’t manufacture a run, 3 outcome offense was really exposed by the American League.
But it’s still hard to appreciate just how bad the Dodgers offense was.

Your baseball team going cold in a series is the worst feeling ever. Perhaps I'm conditioned by years of Cubs fail (save 2016 obv) but it's the worst when you just know in your bones by the 4th inning that things are hopeless.
Now I find myself in the Pacific NW with the hopeless Mariners on most nights of the week toiling away in mediocrity.
