True to his nature, Bilzerian spends his free time doing extreme sports around the world as well as training MMA, scuba diving, mountain biking, snowmobiling and racing cars.
Bilzerian was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Along with his brother Adam, Bilzerian invests in and manages business interests across a wide array of industries, including real estate, oil and entertainment. He enlisted in the Navy for four years and went directly into SEAL training. After completing 2 hell-weeks and 500 days of training, Bilzerian was dropped from the program for a safety violation two days before graduation. He received an honorable discharge and spent the following four years at the University of Florida majoring in business and criminology. Bilzerian left college after achieving significant financial success and focused his time on funding start up companies. Bilzerian divides his time between homes in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Diego.

I don't know if it's still the case, but not too long ago IMDB listed actors based on how popular their actor pages is. There was an incident on Reddit where a user mentioned that he was an extra in a Tom Cruise movie, and he kept rising on the cast list as a result of all the page views. When that was noticed, they actively tried to manipulate this and get him listed first, but ultimately managed to get him just below Cruise.Quote:

A true story about Dan:
One time he was playing 1/3 at aria in 2012 at my table. I didn't know who he was. I've always dreamed of playing pro, but have a real job and was kind of broke at the time.
Anyway, he played everyhand, and as crazy as rumored. We get it all in on flop, he hits 3-outer.
We keep playing and start talking, he offers to give me back my money and all his stack when he leaves if he gets to ask me 3 questions and I swear to answer them honestly. Thing is, he's been basically just sticking his stack in preflop like 4 hands in a row trying to dump it before going to the bigger game he's on waiting list for.
He asks me how many girls I've slept with, and what my bankroll is. I told the truth about girls but prob would have exaggerated if I knew about his stories. I lied about the bankroll. Really, the number I gave him was more than my liferoll was.
Before asking a third question, He gets called for big game, pushes several stacks of red chips to me, says good luck and walks away.
There are a lot of posts on 2+2 saying the 10 mil thing is a lie. I think all of Dan's tweets,pictures, and sitting in these games is just a way to launder money. He gets to be the front man flying in private jets, banging babes, and getting a percentage of the money he is able to put in play. Nice work if you can get it. When confronted with stuff just say I was so fucked up I can't remember exactly how much I dropped at the club or the tables.

"Vegas Poker Incident"
My best friend who lives in Florida, his daughter was dating this guy that comes from an extremely wealthy family. I meet him when he and my friend’s family flew up to N.Y. I knew of this kid’s family background, and found him to be very pleasant after meeting him. He turns out to be a big stakes poker player. He’s 26 years old and I was rather surprised when we started talking poker and the stakes he was playing at. Then I find out that he and my friend’s daughter were flying to Vegas the next day.
Monday my friend calls me, and tells me that he took this kid to a bank and witnessed him transfer $150,000.00 dollars to the cage at the Bellagio, in Vegas, before getting dropped off at the airport. A clue to who his dad is: owner of the biggest residential home ever built in the state of Florida.
Anyhow, a couple of days later my friend calls me from Florida. Apparently there was an incident that took place at the Bellagio poker room involving a famous pro and this kid.
It turns out this kid is a complete arrogant asshole; especially at the tables, where most everyone that knows him don’t like him. This is all being reported to my friend from his daughter. His daughter by the way is a gorgeous woman, and use to date Derrick Jeter. I know this is all sounding weird, but believe me it’s all true fact. So, while they were in Vegas my friend’s daughter said, he was playing poker for two days straight and only slept for 3 hours. Getting bored of being by herself, and fending off guys hitting on her, she decides to go hang out with him at the poker table again. She happens to walk in just when he lost a huge hand. He starts losing it, telling her she’s bad fn luck, embarrassing her in front of all the players and then throws two $100.00 chips to her and tells her to go shopping. She picked up the chips and threw them back at him. With that a well known pro we all know, tells her she don’t have to take that shit from a asshole and hands up three $5,000.00 dollar chips and tells her to go get herself something nice. This was the same player that just cracked him on that last hand.
She kept them and stormed out of the poker room, and cashed out the chips. She went to her room and packed up. Unable to get a flight till the next day back home, she called her dad and checked into a different casino for the night and flew home the next day.
Now there are all kinds of sparks flying around with them, and him accusing her of disrespecting him, etc. etc. It’s now at the point where my friend had to get involved.
I guess what happens in Vegas, don’t always stay there. Thought it was an interesting story to tell everyone."

Casino confirms the win and now DB has $10 million that's been washed. Guy who had a tax liability now owes the IRS zero, and he has an extra million for his troubles.
