What a good/crazy game.
MVP
Picked him up as a minor league keeper for my fantasy team in 2015. Fortunately he barely maintained rookie status in 2016 so I can keep him for "free" for 2017.
I bet on Giants today so I have mixed feelings about this game. Want to see the Giants go down, but the Jewish side of me wants to win this bet.
we all know who is going to win that battle.
Well, I don't have control of this battle.
Either way, part of me ill be happy and part of me will be unhappy with the result of this game. But I knew that when I bet it.
Not to hijack, but true story:
When I broke 3 ribs in 2014, and thought my spleen was ruptured a week later (which would have required emergency surgery to remove it), they put me through a CT Scan machine, and my only thought was, "Crap, this is all going to be so expensive".
The old Sawks player, Ross, was dreadful beginning to end
Druff's jew wallet just got slightly bigger.
Cubs will get 'em next game.
David Ross is 39. Came up with the Dodgers in 02.
He's been a decent backup type catcher, with some stints as a starter. Hit 21 HR in 2006. Hit 10 this year in a part time role.
Never hit for average, like most catchers.
By no means a great or even good catcher, but was serviceable, and always had the ability to hit the ball out.
That was a hell of a game. Would love to see a game 5.
real good game.
There was a huge base running blunder for SF in the 8th. Right after the Chi. catcher bounced the ball off Crawford elbow on a pick off attempt, there was a soft ground ball to 1b. With 1 out and a runner on 2nd, the runner at 3rd, especially a fast runner has to try to score. Doesn't matter that the infield is in. In that situation you go on contact.
But Crawford stood at 3rd with his finger up his ass and the announcers didn't sat shit about it. Could have cost them the game, but they got lucky.
Can we agree that the NFL is crap?
Thurs night games are the epitome of awful.
I also noticed not one word yesterday regarding MNF. Apparently, I am not alone with this opinion.
Although Bumgarner almost blew that game pitching another fastball to Arrieta, they pulled it off.
I don't know how people don't continue to bet on San Fran with MadBum on the mound.
Despite being up 2-1 the pressure has to be on the Cubs to finish them off today.
Game 5 Cueto and maybe you see 2 innings of Bumgarner if needed?
Who cares about the division series?

how much is druff regretting going to this game right about now?
jesus Christ Daniel murphy is a killer...
Kershaw trying to find the closest bridge.
Christ when the hell did the giants bullpen get this bad? haven't watched all year, but I know they used to have a pretty lockdown pen when they won their world series...
this is just fucking painful to watch....
im delighted atm
Didn't regret it at all.
Great game, albeit not smooth sailing.
Crowd was very into it, too.
Excellent seats for $108 each.
Went with a PFA Radio listener who I knew threw traderusky.
Daniel Murphy just destroys the Dodgers. He and Jason Werth have carried the Nationals this series, and Trea Turner has also been a pain in the ass.
Dodgers got 6 runs despite Corey Seager going 0 for 5.
Jennings hasn't gotten to 19 comps many time in his career.
Under 19 -120
Take Crosby under 93.5 pts.
Concussion already. One more during year and he won't play more than 50 games
