What a good/crazy game.
MVP
Picked him up as a minor league keeper for my fantasy team in 2015. Fortunately he barely maintained rookie status in 2016 so I can keep him for "free" for 2017.
I bet on Giants today so I have mixed feelings about this game. Want to see the Giants go down, but the Jewish side of me wants to win this bet.
we all know who is going to win that battle.
Well, I don't have control of this battle.
Either way, part of me ill be happy and part of me will be unhappy with the result of this game. But I knew that when I bet it.
Not to hijack, but true story:
When I broke 3 ribs in 2014, and thought my spleen was ruptured a week later (which would have required emergency surgery to remove it), they put me through a CT Scan machine, and my only thought was, "Crap, this is all going to be so expensive".
The old Sawks player, Ross, was dreadful beginning to end
Druff's jew wallet just got slightly bigger.
Cubs will get 'em next game.
David Ross is 39. Came up with the Dodgers in 02.
He's been a decent backup type catcher, with some stints as a starter. Hit 21 HR in 2006. Hit 10 this year in a part time role.
Never hit for average, like most catchers.
By no means a great or even good catcher, but was serviceable, and always had the ability to hit the ball out.
