Little rift brewing between Trump and Team Child Extermination..
:popcorn
I saw Loomer, Levin, and Shapiro all say the same. Hard to miss the common connection between all 3 and why they hate Trump cozying up to a country that supports terror groups.
In Shapiro’s case, he does break ranks with Trump occasionally.
The other two though are 24/7 cult members until he takes a clear bribe from the Muslims. They are only angry when he isn’t crazy enough for them. Not MAGA enough.
Then they suddenly have a problem with this.
If the plane was from Russia they’d be cheering it.
S&P is 5% away from its all time high. I was in Dicks this past weekend, place was jammed. I did not see anyone freaking out over tariffs. Outside the anecdotal CNN story of the business owner selling 10-speeds, this is a media driven event.
Ben Shapiro is legit annoyed with Trump but has to say it in code.
It's not just about the Qatar plane thing. He's been putting out a lot of subtely hostile language about Trump during most of this second term. The way he phrases it is along the lines of, "We can't have any distractions, if we want to get the agenda we all voted for. The left and media will jump on anything they can, so it's not smart to give them ammunition."
I agree with Shapiro. I liked Trump's first term, especially the first 3 years of it. I voted for him this time around, though not in the primary. I find myself scratching my head regarding a lot of things he's doing. Some of his actions have been very positive, but there's really been a lot of WTF moments in these first 4 months.
The continued follies involving the $TRUMP coin are among those things I simply can't understand if Trump wants a serious Presidency.
This is why we'd have been better off with Meatball Ron.
I am of the opinion the plane is a nothing burger and mostly serves as a distraction from the much more massive shenanigans going on between Trump and the Gulf states.
That being said, I am hopefully optimistic that the end result of all this bribery will actually be positive for the US (and probably by association Israel) in the long run. The more the Gulf States are invested in the world economy, the more they will have skin in the game and not want to fuck everything up supporting anti civilizational religious zealots.
I'm trying to remember a time where bribery had positive results
That’s beyond hopefully optimistic bordering on full blown naïveté. I’ve heard some variation of that argument for 30 years and it’s always laughable. Qatar is a slave state where everyone relevant is already fantastically wealthy. They approach these meetings with the same mindset we do from the opposite end. They assume as long as they spread enough money in politicians pockets they’ll eventually get us to see Israel and the region in the same light they do.
Given they are dealing with the most self involved and corrupt man alive, it’s a perfect opportunity to test just how much he is willing to sell out Israel. They know he won’t outright abandon them, but they will be looking to take advantage of a unique time when public opinion in the US of Israel is at an all time low on both sides of the political fence to see how far they can chip away at their influence.
Calling a $400 million bribe that doesn’t stay with the US but transfers to him privately a nothing burger is amazing. True it’s just the tip of the iceberg. None of this is for the benefit of the US or by extension Israel, just to the benefit of Trump personally like always
China not only agreed to lower tariffs to what Trump proposed. They also agreed to discontinue all trade barriers like vat taxes. They also agreed to address the fentanyl problem. Plus Trump left high tariffs on steele, medicines and semi conductors to revive those industries in the U.S. Trump is accomplishing what he wanted, more balanced trade.
After the China deal, the other countries will line right up.
