Well, both my MLB bets are pretty much toast.
Last shot for the night. Surprised I missed this earlier. I'm not chasing, I would have totally bet this if I saw it originally:
Giants (Bumgarner) +117 vs. Boston (Price)

early look for tomorrow...
my boy jimmy nelson on the mound against the mets at home...
-115...I can get behind him at that price...as bad as the dodgers O is right now, the fucking mets might be worse...no wright, no duda...bartolo is the opposing pitcher...
not firing on it yet, but definitely interested at that price...
Normally, I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who benefits from the winning picks that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it.
I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you make some picks.
But you are China.
Yeah, we know the Pedroia story. Price has gone from awful to fairly good. No Ace - I mean c'mon. His velocity is still less. Look below at this year and even yesterday to last year. This is a guy in transition.
I don't dwell a whole lot on stats. My eyes don't lie. But I looked it up.
Also Price's BABIP last night was .056 Take .300 as the norm. Price has been mid .200 which is within norm. Price was blessed last night on balls in play and this ain't repeatable.
The home run thing was not a surprise and anywhere else but ATT there woulda been a third HR.
Yeah, we got a little lucky but we had the edge and benefitted from the public still believing the Sawks offense (which is in regression) and that this was an Ace matchup.
Speaking of Aces how about James Shield's debut with the White Sox?
:lol
I wouldn't say we got lucky with the Giants/Sox game.
Surely it was a close one, but it wasn't "lucky". If there was to be any luck, it would have been BAD luck due to that dropped routine fly ball in the 9th by the rookie Giants outfielder. Fortunately the Giants faced two slumping hitters with 1st-and-2nd-1-out, and got out of it.
Props to Bochy for taking out Casilla when it didn't look like he quite had it. Javier Lopez is really tough on lefties, and Hunter Strickland is probably the future closer there when Casilla finally falls apart (which might happen this year).
Home team always has a big advantage once it's tied in the late innings, given both the walkoff potential and knowing exactly how many runs you need when behind.
Agree. Bartolo has pitched well as of late, but that never lasts for too long with him. I could easily see this being one of his bad games.
Nelson is an enigma. High upside, but very inconsistent. Last start was pretty bad.
Still, I think this one looks in Nelson's favor, given the Mets' missing players and the fact that Colon was born in fucking 1973.
bet it at -112...
line smells...nelson should be a bigger favorite given how well he pitches at home...
mets are definitely missing pieces, but Collins built a good lineup tonight with granderson, conforto, cespedes, walker at the top...not loving it as much as I was when the line came out last night, but fired on it anyway...if this game were at citi I wouldn't take it, but something in the brats makes jimmy pitch well at home...
Fuck Baseball
Going with just the Brewers today -108
In just on the Yankees today.
Daly, do you genuinely like Phil Steele?
His stuff gets circulated through some of my friends
I'm seperating wagering and fandom here for a minute.
College Football is GOD.
And as far as betting goes there is $$ to be made in college football props. Last year in week 1 I made $1500.on Deion Sanders Jr SNU under 4.5 receptions. SMU runs 4 wide and Jr wasn't even in the top 12 WR on the depth chart.
ok decent run this week. Only one game yesterday, but I have a lot today and mostly favorites, so not loading up given piss poor pricing: NYY, Nationals, Athletics, Boston, Cubs (small bet for fun as pricing is LOL), Colorado, Cleveland.
Hi, my picks for game 4, under is -110, all other bets are -115. 4 $250 units wagered.
Total -207 (-110)
Andrew Bogut total pts+rebounds+assists over 11.5
Harrison Barnes total pts+rebounds+assists over 15
J.R. Smith total pts+rebounds+assists over 17
Sawks (Wright) v Twins (Duffy fucking awful + awful BP)
Sox knuckleballer Wright has been amazing. It is hot & humid in Minnesota & this helps knuckleballs dance.
I still think Twins score 2 or more so that should be enough for a light totals bet. Ortiz returns back to where he started and the bench will be amped.
Sawks -1.5 +115 Go ahead
Sawks ML -133. Don't be afraid
Sawks o9 -120 Go light
If I see 5 before LAD Giants start I'll tap that just for the value.
Just can't find any thing else.
That's the knuckle ball for ya. Defies reason
The catcher Hannigan threw up after catching Wright recently.
Nobody has any fucking idea where it's going. But his shit is moving crazy
Thought that was god
Looks like a triple play shaping up for us tonight
Oh by the way. Took that 5 -125 LAD Giants per plan.
So sweet
And with zero help from the twinkles we got the push.... 1 more run please
The public won on games 1-3 , should have known GS was going to be a good bet
My buddy is ar the Luxor and he said they hung -3 E The last 45 min until game time. That's Vegas saying we still don't mind taking the Warriors.
Put in this little play when the Cavs were up 8 points early in the third just for a sweat. I missed out on getting it at +240 one possession earlier.

$114.00
Hopefully no late rally happens in the last 4 minutes and if it don't then the Warriors will be popping bottles Monday night.
Hopefully someone at this game got video of the fan running on the court getting tackled by security.
Edit:
Apparently this is the guy:
:lol
Edit: GOT IT
comparing Lebron to Jordan is an insult to Jordan mj was soooo much better
So this was a big day for underdogs hitting in MLB.
Atlanta +193 won
San Diego +195 won
Miami +147 won
Cardinals +151 won
I didn't bet anything. Wasn't available to do it today.
I would definitely have bet SD +195. Remember when I said you should always take the big underdog in games at Denver, because conventional pitching advantages go out the window? Yeah.
Wouldn't have taken Atlanta or Miami. Maybe would have taken Cardinals.
I do feel bad that I missed out on both SD +195 (which I would have bet for sure) and the Miami/AZ over, as Nicolino vs Corbin was like a guaranteed over.
Wouldn't have bet NBA today, as I had no idea where that one was going.
I'm a little skeptical that the crap-hitting Padres can outscore the Rockies again, but I gotta stick to the plan to go with any big dog in Denver.
And I like Philly today, as well, as Nola is pitching. He has a 2.65 ERA and 0.987 WHIP. Lots of upside with this kid, and he's facing Roark who got bombed last time out.
So...
Philly (Nola) +150 at Washington (Roark)
San Diego (Johnson) +195 at Colorado (Chatwood)
Chatwood has killed it on the road, but has an ERA over 6 at Coors.
my dogs today are Clev and Texas, both on the road but with good pitchers, better teams and nice odds. Only one has to win to cover the bet. Plus Texas had Seattle figured out last series. Also like Washington, Col and Boston. Staying away from the Cubs again, the odds just don't justify betting on them. Even against LOL Atlanta with Arrieta.
Belmont Stakes -

Hedged bet with the fav:

Another sawks over
Play for Sunday
Tigers ML
I'm not sure what it will be tomorrow but on some books it's around +110 at the moment (even money on bovada).
Not sure any of you know who Michael Fulmer is but he's a solid rookie pitcher on a heater right now. Fulmer hasn't allowed a run in the last 22 1/3 innings and just one run in the last 28 1/3 innings pitched. He is also 4-0 in his last five road games.
I'll take the Tigers with Fulmer throwing over Pineda and his 6.14 ERA all day long.
So this was pretty fucking amazing.
Texas down 1-0 in the top of the 9th with 2 out.
Fat ass Prince Fielder at the plate, and I'm pretty sure he's going to whiff and send me to 0-3 for the day.
Hitting like .200 with 4 HR, seems like a lost cause.
Then he smacks one way over the wall, and it's a tie game. Seattle bricks bottom of inning, goes to extras.
10th inning, Texas gets a guy to 3rd, then an intentional walk, but they don't score.
Seattle threatens in the bottom of the 10th with bases loaded, but does not score.
Top 11, Odor homers to lead off the inning. Texas gets 2nd and 3rd with 1 out, but whiffs twice and need their 1 run to stand up.
Bottom 11, Aoki hit by a pitch to lead off. Attempted sacrifice results in an out at 2nd in what looked like both a bad call and bad upholding on review, but I'll take it. Cano flies out on a ball misplayed by Desmond and almost dropped in CF. Nelson Cruz hits a really weird infield single, and now it's 1st and 2nd. Seager hits a long, scary fly ball, but it's hauled in, and the Rangers win.
Thanks Charham. Wouldn't have bet this one if you hadn't pointed it out.
I was correct to not follow your pick of the Indians, but you went 4-1 in your picks so I can't criticize you. Bottom line is that your pick almost erased my 0-2 losses, since this win was +170. Great job.
