Both Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov are effectively suspended for 6 months for their roles in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl.

Conor was hit with a $50,000 fine -- and will be eligible to fight again on April 6.

Khabib's suspension is a little different -- he was hit with a $500,000 fine and a 9-month suspension ... with the ability to get a 3-month reduction IF he makes an anti-bullying video.

Neither UFC star was present Tuesday when the case went in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. They each had lawyers appearing on their behalf.

The board agreed to a 9-month suspension for Khabib -- with the ability to reduce the suspension to 6 months if they're satisfied with Khabib's PSA video.

Khabib has about a month to complete his video if he wants to get the full 3-month reduction.

The suspension is retroactive to the Oct. 6 incident -- meaning if his PSA video is approved quickly, he'll be able to fight again in April.

Of course, Khabib went berserk after defeating Conor in the 4th round of his Oct. 6 fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas -- jumping out of the cage and fighting a bunch of people in Conor's corner.

Khabib's cousin, Abubakar Nurmagomedov -- an MMA fighter who was also involved in the brawl -- received a 1-year suspension and a $25,000 fine.

Report also said he was having emergency surgery this afternoon meaning it’s legit serious probably what they call an incarcerated or strangulared hernia meaning blood supply is being severely impeded in the location.

Obvious result is Gastellum faces Silva (unless he loses again) for Interim belt in a few months. Avg joe would be 3months or so if they weren’t an athlete. But given location and extra care and rehab as it will affect his core will probably be unable to return to the Octagon till late this year guessing October-November.

The UFC is awesome. Imagine how much better it would be if some random homeless guy was in charge...

They almost had a main event title fight with 2 guys:

The champ has needed hernia surgery for a while now, decided to get it the day of the fight.

The other guy had staph all over his face lip and neck, was on antibiotics and was gleefully and casually shaking the fans hands.

Are you fucking kidding? These problems were so obvious; plenty of time to fix the PPV but I guess they just tried to wing it?

I still think the guy with the hernia would of knocked out the guy with staph but we will never know!

Woodley got worked over. He looked pedestrian. He’s been a hollow champion his last few fights. He has no offense.

Bones is lucky he didn’t get DQ. The only loss of his career was a DQ due to illegal strike. I’m not sure how he keeps doing that at this point? Smith was literally scared after the 1st period. He stopped coming forward, no offense at all. It looked like his goal was survival.

UFC is walking a dangerous line with Bones.. Yes he's a draw but the truth is more and more people are getting sick of his shit from his BS claims about tainted crap where he pissed hot to basically undercutting acceptable sportsmanship in the cage.. That's where the problem is gonna happen when fighters come together and say hey this shit isn't cool, he's already cheated to get into the cage at times by doping and now this??? One thing UFC guys generally have is honor in the cage to fight by the rules as they exist.. Hell even Greg Hardy the dirty motherfucker he is admitted he screwed up when he got DQd for his actions in the cage.. Bones never fucking thinks he does a damn thing wrong inside or outside of the cage don't let his contrition claiming he was sorry and learned from his mistakes fool you.. I'm not gonna argue that it's a good storyline, but it's 100% a storyline.

No idea where you came up with her being suspended from wrestling. She never went "off script," she isn't disobeying anyone, and the whole idea is for her to be hated and then be beaten at Wrestlemania, after which she'll go have her warrior babies with Travis or whatever. That sun article may as well have been written by WWE itself. It's covering wrestling like it's real life, which is insane.

The fact that real news outlets all over the world covered it like it was real shows the sad state of the news industry.
