This wasn't gratuitous personal info posting. People posted it out of concern, basically showing us that the respected female attorney among us actually had multiple fraud-related arrests since 2014. That is important and relevant.

After some quick thought into the matter, I decided that while the arrest stuff needed to be outed, her name and personal info did not. So I removed that stuff and stated that nobody was allowed to post it.

Searles' wife's "info" was a first name, and I think Kilgore did it out of ignorance. I don't believe she thought she was giving personal info, and in fact she edited her own post when it was brought to her attention. So I didn't think that deserved a ban.

Hut's info was a complicated matter which I've explained before.

In theory it would be great to just banhammer anyone who slightly steps afoul of the personal info rule, but I need to look at what appears to be intent and the severity of what's done.

We are all adults here and everyone takes a small risk when they post, even "anonymously", that their info will be figured out and they will be identified. I don't want it to happen, but it does.

I am doing my best to balance the privacy of the users here and not being a stickler-for-rules hardass who bans the community out of existence.

She had tons of red flags (sonatine nailed a bunch of them earlier) INCLUDING/ESPECIALLY the recent history of fucking people financially, which was easy to find because she gave us so much info that we'd be idiots not to find it. Especially when we see her taking the same path that previous forum scammers had taken.

peterdc she's not, but she was 100% gonna fuck some people over here one way or another before she left, and she made it clear a couple times that she had no issues cutting things/people out of her life when it became problematic for her.

The info doesn't have to stay up either, hell, I deleted what I posted within half an hour, but it needed to be posted, one way or the other.

Sure if you look over recent history there have been a few people this has happened to various degrees but dig a little deeper and you will see they all basically doxed themselves.

I may be forgetting someone but I mean its pretty fucking simple if you dont post your info yourself then nobody is going to dig up your info and start posting it here. If that did happen am sure todd would drop the hammer but if you decide to put yourself out there and be posting your pics when it suits you then be aware that other info you have online could make it here.

To be fair I can see where gaucho and sal are coming from but as crowe and druff said its not like any of these happened out of nowhere you each one needs to be looked at in the context of how and why what happened, happened.

Yeah, the nature of her charges are the sticky part. In a perfect world, people pm Druff the issue and he simply makes a statement that her screen name has been charged with criminal financial charges, and to be careful. If he made a mistake, it sounds like he knew for a few days. At the rate she was ingratiating herself to some, and alienating others, someone was going to drop her personal info without a firm policy in place. Still, it was going to be spread among the members in other ways, but not just on blast for the public.


If I fucked up and left myself exposed and it became known I was charged with some type of financial crime, Druff throwing out my screen name as a warning would be fair, but I’d be pissed at true personal info if I didn’t rip anyone off here.

It’s hard to pull off though. Each situation is kind of unique, and she really put herself out there.

In general though, allowing doxing kills an uncensored forum in many ways. People sanitize their opinions because they may have future negative real world implications.

Intent & severity grading? No personal info. or death sentence. That kinda eliminates the temptation to flirt with the edges. Now you needn’t judge and analyze each case.

By this point I actually don’t fault Crowe or the others. It’s not an issue presently. Privacy for the poster, his livlihood and family is not a concern on the site.

On balance, the potential risk for a posters wrongdoing vs privacy is an easy judgement for me. Some kind of preemptive strike to protect me against being rolled? Bullshit.

It was preemptive and frankly she didn't do anything wrong. Anyone with half a brain realized that it was a little odd for a new FEMALE member to come to this community and engage at the level she did. That does not mean she should be outed with IRL info.

I want to be clear here that I am not saying that anyone including you should be banned for what happened. I will say Kilgore paid me out quickly in btc even though it was around $5 short. I know their are fees but it still seems a little light, however, I don't care that much.

If it were Druff handling the payouts I would have accepted paypal but from all the crazy shit we have seen on here over the years I did not feel comfortable giving her my paypal email. This is the same for almost everyone on here regardless of the reason. Hopefully for anyone who got paypal from her it won't be charged back (if possible) jasep style.

You seem to forget that she posted her lol drivers license on a site full of resourceful and bored people. Ya she didn't post her last name but first name + dob + people knew she's from Cleveland makes it not that hard to find.

Kilgore asked me if she could pay the free roll and contest winners. She hadn't sent me the $50 she had pledged. I had paid 3 people- china, lisa and mumbles and instead of sending her $100 to facilitate the rest, I should not have been lazy and just handled it myself. No excuse. I apologize. It won't happen again.

I'm going to send you $5 now via PayPal.

I of course realize the rule druff has regarding contests but he has told me he is fine with me distributing user donations for my own shows.

If you look in Kilgore's confession thread, on 11/27 I asked if that picture of her was current (because I found the mugshot that looked nothing like what she was posting) and on 11/28 I asked her if she had ever been arrested (I found the arrest records on 11/27 as well)......I was trying to get her to out herself or catch her in a lie. Of course she never answered though and she was active on the forum the night of 11/27.

Edit: I'm interested to know....did my post asking her if she has ever been arrested sprout someone else to look this up and then post it???

Ever since the Larry situation broke out I've thought Kilgore was attention seeking and most the time when people are attention seeking it's not surprising if their stories are fabricated at least to some degree.

A simple google search lead me down the rabbit hole.
