Only early game I bet was Purdue. I got it at -7.5 last night. It’s now -8.5. I am betting against the High Point team that gave me that amazing comeback. I don’t love this bet though. Like High Point is definitely one of those teams that can knock off a 4 seed, but I am just going to default to the major conferences gap being large until proven otherwise. The NC game the other night was illuminating. They beat the fuck out of SD State and they were middling in the ACC. Opted for first half with LSU because both got off hot last time were -4 for first and -6.5 for first half. Just started. Probably lose now that I have posted it, but I was betting purely on the psychology of quick starts by better teams finally getting some attention and decent crowd and tv. It has worked out marvelously so far today.

Higher seed is going to cover 6-2 in first quarter for today. 7-1 by half. I had the only loser. Most covered quite easily. Something to remember next year. Just stumbled upon it today from a $200 bonus bet that I threw at the first one and went forward with. I can’t watch women’s basketball but the higher seed getting homecourt is a powerful thing. I set a reminder in my phone for next year to be on this earlier. I mean it’s 30-10 USC right now in second quarter. Most of these games give you like a first quarter/first half option roughly half of total spread and they all blow way past it. You have like 8 good teams and the disparity is huge.

It’s a meaningless game in my opinion. Both teams playing for the best record which they call the Presidents Cup in hockey. Hockey people joke about how the Presidents Cup winners inherit a curse.
Chychrun could be out tonight. If he misses, it’ll break a 58 game streak of the Capitals having the same 6 defensemen. Not sure if this is actionable but an interesting stat as the Capitals might have to work out the chemistry with Alexeyev being slotted back in. He hasn’t played much this season.
I’m passing Ovi and sides but will certainly be watching.

I was bullish on St Johns all year, did well on them. I stayed away from them this game because my gut told me Arkansas is on a heater. My biggest win this past weekend was UCONN against Arkansas State, Women's. When UCONN was up like 17-2 in the first half, the OVER line jumped to 151. I am like WTF, its clear Arkansas State cant score, so I drop a grand. Not two minutes later the over jumped to 156, I was like wtf are people seeing that I am not. I knew Geno would get up by like 65 and put the scrubs in at the 4th. He did and UCONN scored 11 in the 4th quarter and the total came in like 135. Easiest bet I have made in a very long time. But yeah I got killed on the Auburn-Creighton under later that night. Took under 149.5 and some garbage time in the last minute got it to Auburn 82-70. If these fucking coaches just would shut it down the last minute when the game is clearly lost we could actually make money in this racket. But no they have to fucking foul and go to the line.Quote:
