You always have your wagers so well structured. I need to get better at that. Like I’ve gotten pretty good at this shit. I click the last 12 months tab and I’m heavily in the positive.


But I have a lot of poorly structured bets. That’s the beauty of betting those +300-+1000 spots you always have. Huge berth to hedge. Also an advantage of baseball and hockey with the ML bets.

You aren’t betting ML very often in basketball. You’ll bet a team -6 and it’s your way by 10 at half but don’t love the way game is playing out. You go to hedge and it’s losing team +9.5 -129 and the ML isn’t price right and you don’t think losing team is going to win. You’re worried about a 4 point win by team you bet. Middling and scooping both doesn’t happen enough to justify juice on live wager.

You start at those +300 and above spots you bet, ton of room to hedge. I need to get better at that.

$1000 on St Johns, against Marquette. It's at the Garden, and St Johns is on an absolute roll. I got it at -3.5, other books have it at -4.5. I see a St John blowout, OR a Marquette win. I don't see a St Johns close win. It's either a 87-70 type game for St Johns, or a 71-69 win for Marquette. We will likely know 10 minutes into the game, I am just not betting against Pitino in MSG. To be fair the -3.5 line is a little unsettling. You'd think it would be -7, so the sharps might know something, they usually do. But I am long on Pitino this year.
