This thread is dedicated to Gordon Solie. You know that guy from West Virginia that won the first Powerball like 20 years ago just died yesterday, sounds like he blew it all and maybe had a million or two left but who knows, sounds like everyone died around him. If I were to ever win the Powerball I would do a movie on Gordon Solie, and I am serious. This guy personified Pro Wrestling. I met him in the early 90s at an event. He was signing autographs but not charging, for a young stud like myself at the time it was larger than life to shake hands. The one thing I remember was he reeked of smoke, and he ultimately died of throat cancer. But he could not have been nicer to the crowd that was around him.
