Considering that the United States of America is a Constitutionally Limited Republic - not a Democracy - and the internal rules of a private political party have no bearing on the laws of the Federal Government, your world view matches your retarded political ramblings.

I'm for changing the name of this thread from "flying stupidity" to " flying Trump" and this clown wants to be POTUS, and some of you support him lol. But I sure hope he wins the nomination, or my Hilary bets will be a sweat

Perfect illustration of how average voter thinks (not a shot at you per say). Would rather elect an attractive well spoken individual who has little knowledge or experience in politics than an ugly impersonal one who is qualified.

Also perfectly encapsulates the level of discourse in this years primaries.

I want to put this prediction on the record so that I can point to it next year, or forget about it forever. I did predict that Obama would be President in November 2007.

Trump and Hillary are going to be the nominees. Supporters of other candidates are stamping their feet and yelling, but it's over.

The betting sites are making Hillary the 2 to 1 favorite, and that sounds about right. Trump will take a bunch of low population states and Texas, Hillary will take Florida, Ohio, Illinois, and that's that. The electoral map has looked like that the last two elections, and head to head polling is showing it again.

Now the actual prediction part. Trump is going to blame the Republican leadership for his loss. He'll say they always hated him and were sabotaging him the whole way, and it won't be entirely untrue. In response, Trump is going to start a new party. He has the ego to call it the Trump Party, but he's probably smart enough to call it something tough like the Eagles of Freedom Party. Sarah Palin will be on board, as she was an early supporter. Chris Christie and some other decently big names will join. I think it would actually do very well among the large number of people who say they hate both parties.

Up until a few months ago, there was speculation that Trump would run as an independent this year. The polling in those 3 way races saw Trump splitting the conservative half of the electorate and handing the victory to any Democrat. I think that may actually happen in 2018, but with Trump approved candidates up and down the ballot.

Now the really crazy part. If Democrats take over both houses in 2018, there will be calls from the right for structural voting reform, so they could stop losing elections 30%-30%-40%. And they would get support from the far left. Maybe. Just maybe. Donald Trump could destroy 200 years of two party rule based on our first past the post voting system.

History shows that a strong showing for non-establishment/independent candidates garner for the top electoral spots nationally (president) or in states (governor) almosy never translates into much support for third party candidates down ballot (e.g. representatives, senators). And that is because those races are much more dependent on machine politics to build name recognition. Because while voters usually complain a LOT about Congress, they are usually complaining about the representatives and senators from *other* districts or states, not their own.

And because big money is doing an excellent job in supporting GOP efforts down ticket, and most of the establishment Dems are fucking clueless about how to not quietly suck the dicks of big money supporters, Trump upsetting the GOP's plans for the presidential race won't have hardly any impact on the GOP's control of the House and Senate in the foreseeable future.

    Sad but very true.
I saw a special on 60 minutes. They had 30 1st graders in a room and two seperate teachers come in and read them the exact same story. One was very pretty but couldn't read very well, she was stuttering and skipping around ect. Then they had the not so good looking teacher read the the same story, she read very well and was quite animated while she read it. Later they asked the kids which teacher they liked better. 29 of 30 chose the good looking one.

My take smacks of conspiracy theory. But this play is as old as time. Bread and Circus for the voters while Rome burns.

It may bore you but it's how the game is played.

Fed Chairman and Obama's bitch, Yellen, made some speeches this past week.

Yellen argued that the Fed had not run out of policy ammunition and stressed the need for careful policy gradualism within a cautious approach overall—

Translated no interest rate changes and more QE is available.. She even touched on negative rates.

Music to the markets ears. The casino will remain open for the coming year. I kinda now know we are beat here.

I think Trump benefitted "huge" from the pain felt during the markets dump Dec - March. There was a lot of fear and uncertainty.

We will delay the inevitable come to Jesus moment til next year but the Democrats will deal with that fall out with the new administration.

Her remarks and their context could be taken to suggest that, for reasons beyond its control, the Fed is increasingly held hostage by three forces that could threaten its own credibility and political autonomy.
I agree with this quick take but what the fuck you gonna do.

The game is the game. Well played Obama. You win.

Obviously everyone here knows I'm a Trump fan. I've grown bored with this election so I haven't paid attention much the past couple weeks. That said, I'm now comfortable saying Trump has a near zero chance of becoming President and I'm not sure that's a bad thing. Reality for a lot of the country is setting in.
