Amarillo Slim was a consummate con man, but he had so much charm, nobody seemed to notice. Back in the day, before poker became "legitimate", it was actually a badge of honor to be a little shady.

Not as bad as Puggy Pearson. Puggy was a legend in terms of being an asshole to dealers.
A good book is Al Alvarez's Biggest Game In Town. it tells how Moss tried to cheat the mafia and how he had to leave vegas for 20 years.
Also of note, is Stuey Ungar, who called every dealer the same name "mother fucker"
the story goes that one time a lady dealer challenged Stuey to a fight in the parking lot of the Horseshoe because she had enough of his antics. He'd tip well though, that's never been disputed.
Another good one of Stuey is how he almost didn't get to defend his title in '81 because he spit in the face of a poker dealer named Harry Franks. Benny B banned him from the 'Shoe and it took his son Jack to step in and convince his dad that if Stuey didn't play, it would be bad publicity.

Actually that was when she was wearing Full Tilt gear at the WSOP, after it was clear they had stolen our money.

I was about to bash her for it, but everyone at the table loved her, and I knew my message wouldn't have gone over well. I had just arrived at the table. Also, since she wasn't at all a major figure in the Full Tilt scandal, bashing her for wearing the gear didn't seem worth the backlash I'd likely get.
Lock was a different matter.
She was one of the main faces of the site, and was repeatedly told that they weren't paying anyone.
She ignored everyone and continued to promote Lock until the very end.
Had she been at my table that year, I would have really given it to her.
