It's not the same as a correlated parlay, a blatant advantage play which most books will ban you for doing. An example of a correlated parlay is parlaying the 1st half under and the full game under (of the same game) in the NBA. A correlated parlay is one where winning the first bet will greatly increase the chance of winning the second.
