Let's go over these one by one.
The first order "to not renew DOJ contracts with privately operated criminal detention facilities" is actually good. Private prisons are a disaster and need to be abolished. It's not because they're "racist" or any other BS identity politicking reason from the left, but more because they are inefficient, corrupt, and often victimize both prisoners and their families. Good job there, Biden, even if you don't understand why it's good.
Unfortunately, the rest is a bunch of shit.
The one about HUD seems just performative. It doesn't even name any particular unfair housing policies to fix -- only that the Trump changes need to be "examined" so they can call them racist somehow and do a "fix" to appear racially sensitive. Dumb.
"An executive order pushing federal agencies to regularly and meaningfully engage with Tribal governments" sounds like a good thing, but isn't. In reality, this order is about "respecting sovereignty of Tribal governments", which is horrendous policy. We should be doing the opposite. The so-called "sovereignty" allows Tribal governments to establish kangaroo courts where outsiders have none of their usual rights and protections -- which is exactly what allows the complete abuse and cheating of patrons at Indian casinos, among other things. Additionally, this prevents the federal government from stepping in to help in situations where rich tribe elders exploit their own people. Native sovereignty has been a disaster. But of course, "respecting sovereignty" sounds like the woke thing to do, so.....
The next one is more "racial equity" crap when it comes to fighting COVID. Rather than simply pushing policy backed by the science -- something Democrats have long promised to do post-Trump, they are instead justifying deviating from the science for "racial equity" reasons. Note that this is NOT an effort to make sure that certain minority groups have equal access to the vaccine and to COVID care. That I completely support. This is the nonsense "equity" thing rearing its ugly head again -- the same bullshit which led the CDC to recommend young, healthy essential workers to be vaccinated at the same time as very elderly people.
The January 20 order to "cancel Trump’s order limiting federal contractors’ ability to hold workplace diversity and inclusion trainings" again sounds like a good thing if you don't understand it. In reality, this is horrible. Certain woke federal agencies were requiring PUBLIC EMPLOYEES to take nonsense courses which preached extreme theories that America was a systemically racist place. These employees were required to repeat back these "teachings" if they were to keep their jobs. This was not an open discussion or seminar. This was not racial sensitivity training, or training on how to get along with minority employees. This was a course which was required, and everyone had to state agreement with these extreme leftist theories in order to "pass".
Trump put an end to this for federal employees and federal contractors, stating that political brainwashing had no place in federal work. This was 100% correct, and Biden just undid it!
