Not only can you, you can even be president when you lose by 3 million votes. Vat a country!

Pretty sure Trump won by 77 votes, though.

"Here is how the system is screwing you, here is the evidence that Republicans aren't doing anything about it, here are our plans to help you."

Instead, this is what they're putting out:

"Republicans are screwing you, socialism is the answer, there are 52 genders, and you should feel guilty for all of your white privilege. Oh, and stop blaming Muslims for all the terrorism. Also, you're a bigoted, gullible moron if you're Christian, and we might take away your guns soon. Okay, go vote for us!"
Druff, the Dems can’t credibly do tbis because, as Trump has capitalized on, a lot of swing voters believe that the Dems screwed them over with pushing globalization led by Bill Clinton, and then letting the big banks screw them during the Great Recesion while not a single banker connected with the mortgage bubble and related fraud went to jail. For whatever reason Obama politically fucked up massively for the Dems by not making the DoJ go after the executives of the major banks and bond rating agencies who participated in that fraud. Meanwhile, many voters were reminded or remember that hundreds bankers were prosecuted in the wake of the S&L scandal during George H. W. Bush’s administration, and the macroeconomic hit Americans experienced related to that crisis was much less severe than the Great Recession.

So, no. The Dems need entirely new, progressive, younger leaders unconnected to both the DLC and Team Obama if they want to energize the millions of ordinary citizens back to the polls. It may take a few election cycles to transform the power base of the Democratic Party, but it has to happen in order for the Dems to credibly offer American voters a materially different option versus what the GOP is doing.

Frankly, I don’t know yet whether the Dems will be able to avoid fielding a weak ticket because the establishment Dems still control most of the party and are fighting tooth-and-nail to keep progressives from gaining broader support among likely Democratic primary-eligible voters and control of state and local party offices.

But progessives are definitely going to gain seats in the House and some state offices this coming midterm. And as their message focusing on economic programs to help the struggling middle class gains a bigger audience, as well as avoid trying to use identity politics alone to win support from voters (which establishment Dems have been doing to avoid losing support among their own wealth donors), progessives will eventually become an unstoppable force within the party and beyond.

Did nobody learn anything from Trump getting elected?

Trump got the seat in the big house cause the majority said enough is enough. We actually turned your party against itself . You could run Jesus himself in 2020 it ain't happening.

Even though this is the single largest “aid” package in US history—and worthy in its own right for that fact alone, never mind that it is going to state which has formally declared itself for Jews-only—the Jewish lobby controlled media in America has hushed it up completely.

According to a statement issued by Alison Weir, head of the If Americans Knew organization, “while Israeli media reported on the aid to Israel, no U.S. media reports on the military bill seem to have mentioned the allocation to Israel.

“For example, an in depth PBS examination of the bill mentions aid to Ukraine, which gets a fraction of the amount to Israel, but fails to mention the money to Israel,” Weir continued.

“A separate bill, “The United States-Israel Security Assistance Authorization Act of 2018,” has passed the Senate and is now awaiting full House approval. In the House the bill number is H.R.5141 and in the Senate it is S.2497).
The same Oligarchs who robbed the former Soviet Union, different tactic.

We're $20 trillion in debt and gutting everything in order to give away BILLIONS AND BILLIONS AND BILLIONS to some rogue terrorist state. We have to pay this back plus interest WTF.

    THIS IS A FUCKING ROBBERY!

    Effective immediately:

FPS_Russia may NOT do any of the following:

    - Post random, off-topic or mostly-off-topic messages

    - Find ways to turn every thread into anti-Semitic rants

    - Start new threads about fringe conspiracy topics

If FPS_Russia likes, he may make ONE thread which will contain all of his walls of text and conspiracy videos, for those who wish to see that sort of thing,

Druff, instead of sneering at socialism try to understand the appeal of someone like O'CrazyO besides the obvious ethnic/racial reasons

here is the key to understanding: capitalism as practiced in the United States has resulted in no real income growth for the 99%ers over the last 50 years (1973 onward) with all real growth going to the 1%

so socialism/or socialism inspired modifications to capitalism are gaining ground amongst the young... capitalism has it's flaws: concentration of income & political influence into a small group, exploitation of the environment, pursuit of profits leads to imperialism...and these flaws are nothing new--Marx wrote about them nearly 180 years ago

btw, Great Britain also suffers with no real income growth for the 99%ers, but there the no growth phenom has gone on for only the last 15 years or so

Dems like O'Crazy-o talk of wealth redistribution via guaranteed income, free college and medicare for all, while Republican Trumpers talk of protectionist tariffs to bring back jobs out-sourced to foreign countries and controlling immigration to lower tax burden & reduce competition in labor markets...both movement stem from a rejection of the bullshit fed the American public over the last 50 years about the benefits of trickle down economics and competition free of government oversight.

The GOP during George W. Bush’s handling of the 2008 financial crisis was 100% for doing this with the major financial institutions with exposure to mortgage paper. Or have you forgotten how G.W.’s lackey tried to get Congress to approve a $700 million TARP bailout with the proviso that Congress couldn’t question the specifics of how the money was used?

That being said, Team Obama was equally negligent in managing the moral hazard of government-backed financial system insurance by failing to criminally prosecute any of bankers who committed the massive fraud that stimulates the mortgage market bubble.
