Guys, should I sell all the bitcoin I bought at an average of about 3750, actually a few hundred lower I think, now that it's over 8k? I know some ridiculously intelligent people about this nonsense, and they have been right every time. Look back at the posts I made here and on Skatz. Once it broke the resistance around 4300, it did in fact shoot quickly back to 6k+. I don't see how people are still making fun of this kind of thing.

I had a need for some bitcoin awhile back. I accidentally purchased using my bank instead of debit card. Unknowingly this required a 14 day waiting period before funds were available. I needed them immediately so I purchased $300 again on my debit. At some point a few weeks later the original $300 cleared. I had forgotten all about it. I logged in today to see that the $300 was now worth nearly $600. So essentially the first transaction was free.

I cashed out today with no issue. Thanks Bitcoin

It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

A Legendary Investment Guru Just Flipped On Bitcoin
    https://www.forbes.com/sites/billyba.../#1ea9cffd4cf1

Bitcoin, which has been rapidly climbing in price over the last couple of months, has reignited the public debate surrounding the future of cryptocurrencies, their value as investments and their use in an increasingly digital world.

The bitcoin price, now double what it began 2019 at, has been hovering just above $8,000 since gaining $2,000 per bitcoin in just a few short days at the end of last week, and many are hailing a new bitcoin and cryptocurrency bull run—with eyes on the $20,000 per bitcoin reached in late 2017.

Now, Mark Mobius, the cofounder at Mobius Capital Partners and a legendary veteran investor who once branded bitcoin a “Ponzi scheme”, has said bitcoin is now, and will be, “alive and well.”
*NOW* he tells us!!! After the price has skyrocketed again!

Forbes had a line that I loved: “Facebook is terrible not because it’s evil, but because it’s terrible”

I’m not sure I fully subscribe to that. It is evil - but that’s a great line. I love a great line and that’s why I love you, Sonatine.

And now we are presented FB Libra. A private currency offered by the FB nation state. It’s a blockchain based product but it’s not crypto. Not really.

I’m still noodling this development out. At first glance, it appears to have some moral rectitude and that’s hard to accept. It’s a benefit to the unbanked.

FB doesn’t value the Venezuelan coffee picker’s data but the poor bastard is unbanked. FB is offering what appears to be actual value to Juan. FB will have less friction and outright fraud than your average crypto exchange.

Juan doesn’t have a lot to lose in this transaction. What is Zuck up to?

Your thoughts? Any good link you’ve seen?

I just noticed what I did.

I would never use a Facebook product. That’s just my instinct for self preservation. It has served me well.

My imagination only allowed me to see a 3rd world person finding Libra appealing,

Of course I’m wrong. A billion first world FB idiots are gonna be all over this.

The whole thing is impossible for me to comprehend. It’ll be huge and important.

right but again, to borrow some advertising jargon; what shape is the box that libra fills?

show me the case study where anyone anywhere says 'fuck i wish i had a new proprietary crypto currency that is somehow tethered to facebook'..

Same can be said for dope smoking TSLA 12 months ago. Musk needs to invent a time machine.

You gotta allow gamblers the freedom to be wrong. Market cap is not wisdom

    Government will not like this.
Facebook are trying to make this a legitimate currency.
Crims won't like it for darkweb shenanigans either as it will be easily traceable.

    Good writeup here.
