I enjoyed the immanent domain fight between Jeb and Donald. Jeb bashed Donald for taking an elderly women home to build a parking lot for a fail casino. Donald attacked Jeb because his brother used it in Texas to build his baseball stadium. Jeb might of scored a point on that one, since he agreed with Trump his brother was a douche when he did that.

After the debate, Jeb couldn't find anybody to shake hands with, so he finally just patted one of the candidates on the back before walking off the stage.

Don't understand Rubio's insistence on bashing gay marriage in his closing remarks. Might get him a few rightwing nutjob votes, but he's cutting his nuts off in a national election with views like that. Presidents don't even rule on issues like that other than nominations for supreme court appointees, who might rule on it. Gay marriage is a states right issue, not a presidential decision, so why piss off 10% of his possible voters over an issue he'd never even have a say in if elected.

the only thing that even begins to explain what i just saw, is that there is a soft agreement that in exchange for burning Trump, the final ticket will be either Cruz/Bush or Rubio/Bush.

There is no hard-and-fast definition of who "evangelicals" are in America today. For practical purposes, one approach is to define evangelicals as white, non-Catholic Christians who agree that the label "evangelical or born again" describes them. Recent survey data suggest that about 3 in 10 American adults meet these criteria. Compared with the overall national population, this group of evangelicals tends to be slightly more female and older, a little less well educated, more likely to live in the South, and much more likely to be Republican and conservative.
Over 100 million evangelicals? Jesus Fucking Christ. Really?
Sorry Shrink, but this is a terrible, misleading post.

The US has a population of 332m, but of that the adult population is 228m. The white population is roughly 64%, which is about 164m adults. Even if you agree with the LOL 43% of the population identifying themselves as Evangelical, that would be a total of 70m Evangelical adults, or 20% of the population.

Frankly this figure is BS too. Gallup's original questions of asking respondents if they have had a born-again experience committing themselves to Jesus Christ, if they have tried to encourage someone to believe in Jesus Christ, and if they believe the Bible is the actual word of God are far more accurate and indicative of Evangelical beliefs. Twenty-two percent agree with all three questions, according to a Gallup Poll conducted in May 2005.

That would put the number of Evang's at approx. 50m, or 15% of the total population which is a far more accurate figure IMO.

Honestly, Bush makes the most sense and seems to have the most practical solutions/answers for everything presented in these debates.

However, he still has no chance because he doesn't come off forceful/Presidential enough, plus the country is sick of electing the Bush family to the White House. It also didn't help that he let Trump run him over in the earlier debates. He did a great job fighting off Trump this time, but it's too little, too late.

I really feel that Bush would be the most competent President of everyone on that stage, but he will never get there. I'm not even going to bother voting for him, because he has no shot.

I do wish these candidates just told the truth regarding replacing Scalia, rather than making up bullshit about how justices are never appointed in the President's last year (which isn't even true).

If I were on that stage, I would have said, "It's a constant fight between our party and the Democrats as to who has the majority on the Supreme Court. If a liberal justice had passed away and a Republican was in the White House, the Democrats would try to stall and oppose our appointee as much as possible. That's how it works. If we don't play this the same way the Democrats do, then we lose our majority. Perhaps this whole system needs to be changed, but the way it stands now, we have to do all we can to keep the conservative majority in the Supreme Court."

Or, simply put, both parties do this, so we need to keep up with it or we're at a disadvantage.

As a lifelong republican I am embarrassed that this is the best we can come up with to run our country.

    Cruz is batshit crazy

Rubio is nothing more than a white Obama

    Bush is fucking bush

    Trump is an egomaniac.

    GG USA

    p.s. Fuck Hillary

Jeb Bush is an unrepentant neo-con who rationalizes the fucked-up Iraq War, something Poppy Bush privately lambasted Dick Cheney for pushing.

    People have had enough Bush.
At the last Republican convention, they pretended that the Bush's (George Bush Sr and George W Bush) were never in office.

Jeb Bush is a nice guy but as they say "nice guys finish last".

The approval rating for Congress is 9%.
They can't get any shit accomplished.

If Donald Trump becomes President, he will embarrass the crap out of Congress and he will torture them until they submit to his will.

Trump is the President that they deserve.

Blaming any one person for trade center falling is just lol. This shit could have happened on anyone's watch. Fuck it could happen again tomorrow and it wouldn't even be Obongo's fault imo. Getting tired of Trump real fast. I'd almost vote Bush over him at this point.

The root source would be Reagan arming rebels in Afghanistan and Bush Sr blowing every Saudi kleptocrat he could find.

4-way race would be sexy as hell except for the dumb electoral college. The House would go ahead and vote in Carson/Palin '16.

Just when we think Trump is going to settle down a bit and act more "presidential" he went completely jewdonk last night again on the other candidates. No matter what they say Trump has proven he marches to the beat of his own drum, and its been very successful thus far. Really wierd debate last night with the crowd and the fighting. Not sure if anybody really "won" but Donald is gonna Donald, that wont change. Cant wait for S.C. and NV.

Trump is now setting his sights on the general election. He knows none of these fucksticks has any chance of beating him for the nomination. He knows exactly what he is doing, and don't think he just brought up the 9/11 shit out of the blue for the hell of it. It is all a calculated move like his entire campaign, outsmarting everyone else at every turn. Keep thinking he doesn't know what he is doing, that he is some "loose cannon with no chance to win". Yeah how has that worked out so far? He is crushing all opponents at every turn, despite what the sheeple think.

While this is true he will likely need a bit more than the 30% or so he has now to win and it isn't coming from the establishment side. His side is praying that Kasich, Rubio and Bush all stay in for as long as possible so those votes get split up. If they combine into one it may or may not be game over but it will make it a lot closer. Cruz is probably one cycle too early if at all.
