It's like a miracle just like Trump said!!!
It's like a miracle just like Trump said!!!
It sounds odd to say this during the age of Trump, but basically the media and the government team up in situations like this to try to scare the shit out of everyone to get them to comply. Stubborn Americans don't want to be told to stay at home. Tell them 250k deaths is probable, possibly a million deaths, and people start paying attention. The media happily does this because negative news is their first choice anyways.
Set the bar "low" and then clear it. Everyone will feel good about their self-isolation vacation. New greatest generation. I'm playing my share of video games for my country.
WTF? "You" aren't seeing it? like you did a study on your own?
More like you just watched 3 hours of Fox "news" lying to you,
and now you (like sheep) are quoting them word for word,
THEN act like its your own take. And you aren't in a cult, right?
Fox didn't kill enough people the 1st round? so they are going to make up for it on the 2nd wave?
San Francisco crowned the ‘world’s best’ city to live: survey
https://www.kron4.com/news/bay-area/...o-live-survey/

People are getting angry...
Winner of the $555 freeroll
Hes getting his disinformation from ultra right wing media outlets. It’s irresponsible to think we may be plateauing and Fox News is at the center of it.
Wait a second.
“Right now we’re projecting that we are reaching a plateau in the total number of hospitalizations, and you can see the growth and you see it starting to flatten,” Cuomo told reporters Tuesday. “Change in daily ICU admissions is way down, and that’s good news. The daily intubations number is down, and that’s good news. The discharge rate is right about where it was
So we shut down the country to stop the spread and now the retards come out saying, see I told you it isn’t any worst than the flu. Come on retards, if we had just went about our lives going to ball games and concerts millions would have died.
if anyone is wondering who the retards are....

I thought that employees of companies that don’t pay state unemployment insurance premiums aren’t entitled to unemployment. So, unless those professional gamblers structured they business as company with the owner receiving income in the form of wages as an employee of the company, including paying unemployment premiums to the state on those wages, they employee/owner wouldn’t be eligible to receive unemployment benefits. Or am I totally wrong about this matter?
...
Never mind! I now see how they might be eligible under the federal relief package enacted a few weeks ago.
Traditionally you’re correct. Many states have made exceptions for 1099 workers and self employed. The federal disaster fund which is paying people $600 weekly certainly allows for those who haven’t paid in. But you have to qualifying through the state first. So logically states would have to allow it or no one would qualify for huge program they passed.
Kansas has an infection rate of .03% and a death rate of .0001%
It’s big enough that you can fit 6 Massachusetts in it and have room left over for a Delaware and a Rhode Island. Needless to say congestion isn’t an issue they worry about a lot.
Not every state needs to be treated like New York at the moment.

Seriously, WTF are you babbling about?
They're trying to prevent "super-spreader" events like that funeral in Georgia. the UEFA Champions League game in Milan & the doctor's curling bonspiel in Edmonton(that's right, a bunch of doctors who knew what the fuck was going on & how to protect themselves all got it because 1 fucking idiot that knew better & how to protect himself decided to attend a curling bonspiel for other doctors) where everybody gets infected then takes it & infects everybody they know then we have an 80's Faberge shampoo commercial.
I got news for you, as soon as you put a bunch of people shoulder to shoulder in a church the population density in that church is significantly higher than rural Bumblefuck, Kansas making mass transmission from even 1 infected person much more possible.

Tell any Kansas (or anywhere) city that they can have big church gatherings in exchange for the city being on complete Wuhan-style lockdown with roadblocks and National Guard troops.
See how important Jesus really is to these dolts.
Or we just let Kansas have the natural advantage of being Kansas without shoving 300 people shoulder to shoulder in a church. There is a middle ground of letting these wide open places open their small businesses with a few employees and go about life in a common sense manner without shoving hundreds into one big room.
The only reason their rates are so low is because they’re rarely packed in anywhere A church is pretty much worst case scenario other than funerals and maybe gyms in Kansas. Just don’t congregate and you’ll always stay on low end.
I lol'd at this:
I'll go out on a limb and say thats not exactly the reason for the disgust. The video circulated at a time where Chinese wet markets reportedly reopened despite global disgust at the conditions and cruel practices towards animals in these infamous markets.
