As a beer snob I was happy to see a Ballast Point poster in the wall.

    Funny episode.

The horse porn was a bit of a head scratcher.

    - EDIT -

Didn't take long for that to make the press

    What notes did HBO have?
It's funny, I actually have an email from [senior vp of comedy programming] Amy Gravitt where she said, "I can't believe I'm saying this, but can we have more screen time with the horses having sex?" She actually asked for more sex [Laughs.] She was right though, so we put it behind some more shots than we originally had. You might as well go all the way, right?

im kinda totally sick of the bachman / bighead thing especially since its obvious that its only happening so when bighead gets sued for spilling the beans about the internet scrubbing, bachman ends up somehow getting sued as well because their equity firm opens him up to risk.

also and im just saying i feel like using 'richard being a fuckup' to compel every plot turn is lazy.

there is more than enough idiosyncratic lunacy in every day silicon valley corporate reality to fuel this show.

love it, it resonates personally, but im just saying.

I love this show. How can you be sick of something that just happened last episode? There should have been no reason for you to know that Big Head would talk of the internet scrubbing thing. Big Head was fired before Gavin made that order. It seems like you will be right and this will happen, and I don't know a lot about NDA's, so maybe Big Head hearing about it second hand after he left the company and talking about it can violate it.

I don't like the Richard being a complete fuck up thing either. The chair fail was hacky and over the top, but Jared saving it for him was one of the few heart warming scenes in the show. His loyalty knows no bounds and he's a crazy fuck without knowing he's a crazy fuck. He went from my least favorite character to almost favorite character.

I'm also way turned off by Erlich now. He always cut corners and whatnot but I can't remember him just 100 percent trying to big time fuck a guy over. Especially with his shares of Pied Piper being worth 25 million right now.

They also can't all be winners, this show just left me uncomfortable. The tall nerd stole the show this week though.

Just to illustrate how confused the show is getting, when Jared was reciting O Captain My Captain I was like "wow this is pretty good" and suddenly I realized I was expected to feel like this was one of Jared's awkward moments because Richard was omg shut it down you weirdo.

He says that every episode if you haven't been keeping up. It's his acerbic nature. The fine line between lauding and disdain.

pretty sure they just read our predictions for this week and basically ad-libbed the rest of this episode.
