The Clippers are not even the "lovable losers" of Los Angeles that people will ever feel sorry for or identify with. The organization just seems to be cursed.

Even the new Arena in Inglewood announced yesterday will not be ready until 2024. I loved Kawhi in Toronto but he'll be lucky if he's still running around on those legs by 2024.
No one is willing to point this out, because it doesn't fit the narrative. But the Seattle City Council has basically gone full radical socialist. No one is bringing a team into this anti-business environment. If it wasn't for this, I imagine Seattle would have had a team a long time ago. The city has actually had to quietly veto a number of anti-business resolutions the council has passed in the last couple years, because Amazon and other big corporations have threatened to downsize significantly in Seattle if they are implemented.

Seattle was always the rumored play when Ballmer bought the Clippers.

Their future is bleak, as they gave it all away for Kawhi and PG.Starting year 3 of win now with Kawhi out for most if not all of it.

So Durant nixed Kyrie for Simmons, along with Kyrie saying he’d simply retire? With how redundant Kyrie’s skills are with the current team, and how perfectly Simmons would fit on a team that doesn’t need him to score, my lord the Nets might have swept every series on way to title. If healthy, that might have been as frightening as Golden State 4 headed beast was given the other pieces they have added.

Between rest days and injuries the Brooklyn Big 3 will probably never play very many games together. So Kyrie's offense isn't as redundant as it would seem given how many games Durant/Harden will likely miss. Of course Kyrie himself is likely to miss a ton of games to.

Also, I really find it LOL how everyone in the media is constantly blowing steam up Jalen Brown's ass. Everyone is always gushing about how thoughtful he is. But every time I hear or read something he says, it just sounds like Level 0 pro-black racism. I don't see any profound thinking going on.

Any two will do in regular season. Nothing is an absolutely perfect fit, but basically Kyrie has always been a marginally useful player with how bad his defense is. Slightly positive.

When I think of the Nets come playoff time, a version with Simmons is wining 128-106 games, and a version with Irving is winning 134-128 games. Simmons just covers up their weaknesses better

It probably doesn’t matter. If healthy, either version likely is champs, but Simmons version makes more sense to me. You’d have some who has the ball in their hands problems, but it would figure itself out and the defense and rebounding would improve so dramatically.

I have no idea what you’re talking about with Jaylen Brown. Didn’t hear anything.

LOL Sixers, now publicly deploying Doc Rivers to state they want Ben Simmons to stay after throwing him under the bus because no team is willing to cough up a huge package.

Shitty spot, as they have to capitalize on Embiid’s prime and can't afford to get cucked with an awful return. Simmons is too good for some return like CJ McCollum + whomever.

Just poor team management across the board for years.

How did the 76ers throw Simmons under the bus? From what I can see the media and social media circus (and Simmons himself) seem to be pushing all of this. And the sixers themselves have been trying to build him up and smooth things the entire time.

Embiid trolling Simmons on twitter surely couldn't have helped.
