i'm not sure we disagree cause we seem to be emphasizing different points. i agree that politically, i think what trump is attempting makes sense, cause yeah, pelosi will never let trump get a win. it's a broken system.My point is Obama set the precedent, not Trump. To me it sounds like Democrats whining that “hey only we can do that! Not fair!” Obama did it first so he deserves the lions share of the blame.
I honestly think Trump did it mainly because he needs to get money in people’s hands who are hurting during a pandemic. And if he doesn’t do that in an election year he is done. Dems are playing dirty by keeping the economy shut down, so is Trump. I got no problem with it.
I’m also guessing if Chief Justice Roberts had struck down DACA in the courts Trump wouldn’t have tried this either but dirty politics by Dems and Roberts opened the door.
I honestly have not cared that much about Obamacare. Some say it’s good, some say it’s bad. I’m pretty much uninformed on it. Is it possible Trump could want to repeal Obamacare but thinks some aspects of it are good and should remain in place? I’m just guessing.

as an aside, i'm not sure if your executive order thing is right. i don't think obama used executive orders more than other presidents. but maybe he used them in more transformative ways though? i really don't know.

I’m constantly in awe of how bad the DNC is run. It’s an electoral game. You got Ca all wrapped up already. You would have been better off pulling a homeless black woman off the streets of Columbus or Cincinatti and denying Trump Ohio.

Trump is already polling better against Biden in the RCP average than he was against Hilldawg at this point, and in the latest Rasmussen poll (only poll to correctly call the 2016 margin) Biden +3, Hill/HarrisX Biden +3, Emerson Biden +4. +3 is the probable victory line, and barring some unforeseen disaster, I'd be shocked if Trump isn't polling ahead of that in credible polls by the end of the month. The next IBD/Tipp poll will be telling. There is the phenomena of 2016 where Trump supporters will not only not be detected but also not answer polling because of the pushback of current events. Trump creeping up this close already given the even more hostile climate than in 2016 has to be rattling the DNC. I think we got Copmala because better candidates will hold out until the likely sure thing of a 2020 ticket.
