I was thinking about the Brewers at home for -200+ since the Pirates are awful on the road + Wilson is trash. Might add in your idea for a parlay instead.....TBD.

The WGC-St Jude is another one that has been rough last two years. In 2019 I had Rory big and he was the favorite going into the last day and was outplayed by Brooks. In 2020 I had Brooks big and he looked like the winner for most of the final round. JT got really lucky when his tee shot on 17 somehow made it through the trees and he made a birdie. Brooks needed to then biridie the 18th and drove it in the water and lost by 3 strokes. JT has won the last 2 of 3 and a big name has won the last 8 years.

I will wait a few days to decide what I am going to do here. It’s one of these things where it feels like I may be just chasing if I take JT +1800. Although it seems like he got his game back the last few days. It’s a tough week to handicap.

For anyone who is going to tail Lydia Ko you can chop up your bet with her medaling at +550. With my current life expectancy I will just be betting her to win.

Euro Tour probably no pre-tournament bets but I’ll make that decision Wednesday as well unless I feel like I need to lock in a price.

Well here is one I didn’t see coming.

5 star QB Quinn Ewers is opting out of his Sr year of High School to attend Ohio State this fall. He sited the $$ he can make at college plus he can now be in the NFL draft class of 2024.

Kind of puts my CJ Stroud call in peril but Ewers will be on campus a few short weeks before the season starts. Be hard for him to have the starting job right out of the gate and if stroud starts off on a Heisman level they can’t pull him…… or so I hope

Crazy how kids will start to rush through high school (online/summer credits) so they can get to the NCAA faster for the endorsement $$

dont think it matters...cant remember the name of the kid, but there's a kid in the high school class of 2023 for basketball that already has a NIL deal...kids can do it in high school as it doesn't affect their collegiate eligibility and i dont think it affects them being able to play in high school...

Stupidity wagering thread delivers on its promise of regular stupidity. I’m a big part of that promise.

I saw the big early Jays pitch count and was unfairly fading your bullpen (not that bad any more). The opposing Indians pitcher is bad but he was having a good day. I have accrued a lot of Jays offensive frustration this year so it was admittedly emotional too

I was listening to a gambling podcast (Dream Podcast with Steve Fezzik) and he said that if you wanted to bet preseason football, look to the over. He said the lines are normally around 36 and have been going over consistently the last couple years. He said if you want to narrow it down more, pick teams that will be playing scrambling QBs significant time, because preseason defenses won't be game planning for 2nd and 3rd string running QBs in preseason.

Pitcher B- 5.2 6 hit 3 ER, 5 IP 7 hit 3 ER, 6 IP 3 hit 2 ER. 4.14 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. However his ERA has increased every month of the season and was 5.33 in July.

So you taking Pitcher B at -245 or Pitcher A at +215? My money is on pitcher A Kris Bubic and Royals over White Sox and Dylan Cease.
