Update fr NYC: We are about a breath or two from Chaos. Power flickering on UES, Manhattan. Wind gust on Triboro Bridge of 100mph. West Side Highway, FDR Drive flooded. South Street Seaport flooded, power out downtown. Flooding on East 14th and B/C is pushing into zone "B". Wind is howling at hurricane gusts or better. Windows are bowing on 9th floor of highrise here. May be my last check-in as I am doubting that the power will hold up. Wish us luck!!! Battery may be the least of our problems as East River is overtopping before Hudson.

(Skilling is a Chicago Weatherman who is one of the best in the US)
