I dont follow poker gossip and have no clue who that guy is. I image searched and still no clue. That being said, damn he went bald fast. Seems like he wet full head of hair to nothing overnight.

I have been on a slow burn of thinning hair and receding hairline for seemingly 15 years. But it is really gotten noticeable the last couple. Really debating whether to go the Dan Neg. hair transplant route, Minoxodil, or just say F it and let it go.

If I was single and/or had a job where my looks mattered I would probably go transplant for sure. But neither is the case, so probably will just do nothing.

He might have shaved it once it got too bald-looking for his taste.

Beileve it or not, my hair has been slowly vanishing since 1999. At the time, I was only 27, and I was very upset, assuming it would be all gone by 40. Here I am near 50, and while I've lost a lot more since then, I still don't have a bald appearance. The fact that I'm tall is very helpful here, as people can't see my bald spot on top unless I'm sitting down.

Marafioti is 33, not 32, but it's very likely that the reference above is to him.

It was assumed that Marafioti was dead 5 years ago, when he vanished without a trace for over a month. However, he reappeared, though seemed quite mentally ill.

His last tournament cash was in July 2016, just a month before that disappearance.


In the early 2010s, Marafioti made headlines as a brash young poker pro who was often controversial on social media, including some very public breakups with then-poker-pro Lauren Kling.

At the moment, nowhere else on the internet is reporting this. There was a brief thread on 2+2 which got deleted (lol).

Lots of activity on Twitter, though, as Doug Polk and other known pros have seen my tweet about it, and people are discussing it. The consensus is that he was one of the great online players of the late 2000s and early 2010s, but had some massive mental health issues.

Lots of players who came up online watching him at high stakes are sad about it, including Polk.

unreal and im very familiar myself with every place in this Ft Lee/Cliffside Park/GWB all of it here, amazing that he so Las Vegas oriented, or so i thought of course, but would end up here, and like this in Cliffside Park NJ. I mean this is bizzarre from that standpoint in many ways, and that it was him. You would have thought Las Vegas obvisouly, not Cliffside Park NJ so just weird. My best friend growing up lived directly to the side/under the GWB, in Fort Lee there. This is unreal and that place, is not at all some bad or ghetto place clearly, so he was with well to do people at the least. Broken hearts hurt, and i know all abou that one, that might have been alot more hurtful to him we see, then ever losing a pot at poker was.
