This guys story makes me hate Chrissy more than ever.

Highlights:
-paid Chrissy $5,000 to meet with him for the weekend
-lost 20k on Saturday. Lost 20k on Sunday.
-lost a total of 40k for the weekend using Chrissys strategies.
-lost 45K when you add in the “coaching fee”
-This was inheritance money.
-This was a years wages for this guy
-This ended his marriage
-Chrissy lost the 5k that weekend
-Chrissy made this guy buy him breakfast the next morning after paying him 5k
-Yup, you guessed it - Chrissy blocked him.


This guy kind of reminds me of Rick Lee. How he initially thought he wasn’t doing “something right”, and went searching for a winning system, not realizing there isn’t a “winning system”. The guy was definitely vulnerable and Chrissy took advantage.

Hopefully enough people will see this video. Hopefully it takes off like the Cia video did.

In a way Karma has hit Chrissy, maybe not as hard as we would like but it did get him. This guy gave Chrissy $5k, Chrissy blew it that night (or maybe that weekend). Karma has a hold on him in the form of being a degenerative gambler. It gives me some satisfaction knowing that Chrissy walked out of the situation with the same amount of money that he walked into it with (Zero dollars). The situation would be a lot worse if Chrissy wasn’t a gambler and actually pocketed that money.

True Karma would be if he walked out of the Bellagio, onto the strip and got hit straight on by a bus. That would be about equal to what he did to this guy.

Fantastic work by Double Jackpot. I won’t comment on the particulars of the person who was scammed, but I am glad he came forward. I am not critical of those who do, but I just don’t want to examine this guy in particular. It is hard for people to come forward and I don’t want to judge him publicly. I am not going to give my opinions on why he may have been a good mark for Chrissy. The money lost at the Bellagio is gone. Setting aside the 5 K paid to Chrissy, when you lose money gambling it is gone forever. Whether you are a professional or a recreational gambler…money lost is money lost. It’s just something you have to accept and move on. In either scenario you hope to learn from those losses.

There certainly is some reflection that needs to be done. Both professional & recreational bettors have a tendency to make justifications for the losses because we are all human and don’t want to think we just punted the money off. From a professional perspective discerning if the odds were truly in your favor when the bet was made or not, is something to learn from. I find when dealing with losses in the short term it’s easy to chalk it up to variance. As a losing streak continues, I will sometimes feel like the variance could not possibly be this bad and re-evaluate if I am making mistakes and making things worse.

I do some -EV gambling from time to time and it’s a matter of knowing the money put in play may very well not come back. If you are able to beat the house edge and make a few bucks than great, but never expect to get anything back. Unfortunately, a big percentage of recreational gamblers do convince themselves that by betting a certain way or “strategy”, they are in a much better position than most. Casinos have made a majority of their money based on that false hope.

This is a whole rabbit hole that I can go down but it is that false hope that Chrissy preys upon. The interview speaks for itself, but there was a certain part that we have written about before that I did think was interesting. This is not the first or the last time someone partially blames alcohol being provided by the casino for their losses. We all know that is fair game and if you bring 40 grand into the Bellagio and lose it, the fact that you were drunk for most of it will not get you back one penny. (Except for the comps of course)

But when he said it felt like Chrissy & the Bellagio were working together in a kind of wink-wink fashion, that really got me upset. It is one thing for a guy to come in off the street alone and lose all his money. But for the Bellagio to allow Chrissy to encourage the man to keep going into his pocket and “doubling down,” just really feels like a bridge too far, even for a casino.

The employees in that high limit room knew what was going on. This is much worse than just continuing to serve the guy alcohol while he loses piles. They knew Chrissy was a scammer and they for sure picked up on the fact that this guy was dumping an absurd amount of money and that he was not a “whale”. Like I said, if he comes in alone and does so it is one thing, but to allow this piece of shit scammer to facilitate this whole debacle and wash their hands of it, it really feels unethical.

I don’t know what the answer is apart from banning Chrissy much earlier. The Bellagio didn’t do anything wrong as far as the law would probably say, but FFS I wouldn’t of felt good if I was dealing the cards watching this guy lose his inheritance while being encouraged by a piece of human garbage scammer.

The impetus for the American Revolution was not simply that the colonists had their tits in a wringer over paying taxes, in fact I believe proportionally we were taxed less here than in Britain. They lack common sense and an even a soul knowing that they are aiding and abetting in the process of ruining innocent people’s livelihood. It’s utterly sickening and disheartening. Pene, Vila, Tommy Nuygen, Rick Dlf, and even Bob Helsey should be in the negative. Shame on them as well. Fuck them.
