I think on any given area, if it's closed, 3-4 weeks of quarantine will eradicate the disease if EVERYONE does it. When people fuck around that 3-4 weeks can stretch from anything to few months to never.

Outside of totalitarian regimes (China) or cultures that are used to wearing masks and following orders (S.Korea or Japan) you're usually looking at 1-2 months when 95% of the people do what they are supposed to.

The United States is uncontrollable IMO thus the virus will eventually do what it's gonna do. I agree, but what is being done in Asia is simply not possible here. I'm all for a 3-4 week 100% lockdown but there's probably 100 million people here that would never agree thus it can't work.
