BTW, "doctors" aren't good to ask about this. Just because they can explain the mechanism of how viruses spread doesn't mean that they know the best public policy to prevent such spread. There's an important balance between safety, freedom, and essential services which much be achieved in order to maintain public health, and doctors have no expertise in that. (A simple example: If there is a very bad outbreak and you lock down, do you allow or disallow plumbers to come into homes for plumbing emergencies?)
The correct decisions about COVID should be made by public policy experts, not by doctors. Doctors can advise, but they don't necessarily make good policy.
