You, Dave Roberts, every announcer and my little sister have zero understanding of Graterol. Nobody who knows gives any shits about some guy who throws 100mph in the year of the lord 2020.

He has like an 8% swing and miss. The WORST in the MLB among relievers. This isn’t a complicated stat so it mystifies me why after my giving you this simple information repeatedly you come back to Graterol?

3 pitches into Graterol’s outing and Bellinger is robbing a home run in a pitchers park. Drops mic. Focus on Bellinger and miss the truth of your circumstance.

Like Kershaw coming into relief last year in the Nats series.... I am going to be sitting and waiting for you to send Graterol through the bullpen gate.

I have mixed feelings. I thought this season would be trash and I would refuse to watch it, but I ended up getting into it. Maybe this was because I was starved for sports.

I really would like to see them win it this year, but I also want to see them win it again in 2021 or 2022, or otherwise it will look like a cheapo win.

I also happened to break a long fantasy baseball streak of coming close but not quite finishing in first, and finally won my league this year. I kinda had the same feelings about that. I also had a lot of Dodgers on my team, but most of them didn't contribute as much as they did in previous years, but I still won thanks to grabbing a lot of sleepers in my draft, including Wil Myers. Anyway, I kinda feel the same way, that I want to win again in 2021 to make it feel "real".

It's also kind of depressing that I can't go to the postseason games. I've been to at least one postseason game for every series the Dodgers have been in, except for the 2016 NLCS against the Cubs (because prices were outrageous). I went to both the 2017 and 2018 World Series. The Dodgers won every single playoff game I attended in the 2010s, until they finally lost the Nationals game I attended last year.

Anyway, I really wish I could go. One of the most frustrating things about this year for me has been the mundane existence of every day being the same. No Vegas, no Commerce/Bike, no vacations, no Dodgers games, no restaurants, no seeing friends. Like everyone, I can't wait for this to be over.

Well, I mean, a Dodgers win this year should actually be MORE impressive than any other year, as they will have had to play an entire extra playoff round....and a best of 3 at that!

I think the only team left where a WS victory would look cheap is the Marlins, as they likely wouldn't have made the playoffs normally. I guess you could argue the Astros also, but they would have had an easier schedule in normal times and could have competed for that 2nd wildcard.

Do you think Dodgers/Rays would be any better? A lot of people around my age are Braves fans thanks to cable TV back when. Can't say the same for the Dodgers.
