The video included absolutely no mention of his staff that are now going to suffer because of poor leadership.

On the whole, he merits a “fuck off” in terms of his health outcome.

nicholas luna, deputy assistant and personal aide to trump isssss positive.

questions biden should be asking next debate:

    - how much was the sticker price on trump's treatment regiment?

    - would it be covered by his obamacare replacement?

Reading through all the bullshit, it seems he’s having a rather standard illness for a guy his age and condition. That his levels dropped again yesterday isn’t good, but expected.

When it first happened, I texted my friend who is a hospital pharmacist and she didn’t know what to make of that experimental drug use. She said she thought it tended to point to him being really bad, or the whole thing absolute bs. She was camping with her husband and kids and said she needed to read up more on it.

She basically said at this point she has two weapons in her arsenal, the remdesivir and decadron, so that he’s followed that protocol since would seem to suggest maybe he was bad that first night and insisted on trying that other experimental medication and they quickly swapped it out. Obviously he would have the ability to want to try it and get it.

I’d guess he’s going to continue to get his ass kicked for another few weeks and who knows the future as far as his lungs? If he died it wouldn’t be shocking, but he’s probably 80% to live given he already has had breathing issues, but has the best care imaginable. I assume he’ll have decent hours where he tweets and might speak and his bad moments where he’s gasping for air like everyone else who gets hit decently hard.

I don’t put much into the returning to the White House on Monday talk given the medical capabilities they have there. If it even happens. They probably have the equivalent of a Level 1 trauma center there by now.

I obviously believe it’s fully real now. I thought it was after he went to hospital as that doesn’t play into any strong man narrative. Most people don’t require hospitalization. Plus I saw something close to 70% think he would have avoided it if he took it seriously, so there isn’t any sympathy vote out there for a guy like him.

What a horrible, yet interesting year.

But Druff believes that millions of illegal immigrants voted illegally in the last Presidential election just in the state of California.

At today's press briefing, Dr. Conley said that the president is now taking dexamethasone. From what I can gather, this medicine has some pretty nasty side effects and is typically used as a last resort for patients on ventilators.

    Why he not on hydroxychloroquine?

Dr. Stella Immanuel, who gained fame in July after Trump retweeted a video showing her touting the malaria drug, expressed outrage in a series of tweets on Friday, condemning the medical decisions of "bozo doctors" who surrounded the president after he tested positive for COVID-19.

"Instead of giving the president of the United States a known safe drug," Immanuel tweeted. "They gave him some experimental antibody stupidness. This is so dumb. Please potus family you guys wake up. Give him HCQ, Zpack & zinc asap."

Guideline seem in line with Trumps condition

    https://www.covid19treatmentguidelin...rticosteroids/

On the basis of the preliminary report from the RECOVERY trial, the COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel (the Panel) recommends using dexamethasone 6 mg per day for up to 10 days or until hospital discharge, whichever comes first, for the treatment of COVID-19 in hospitalized patients who are mechanically ventilated (AI) and in hospitalized patients who require supplemental oxygen but who are not mechanically ventilated (BI).
The Panel recommends against using dexamethasone for the treatment of COVID-19 in patients who do not require supplemental oxygen (AI).
If dexamethasone is not available, the Panel recommends using alternative glucocorticoids such as prednisone, methylprednisolone, or hydrocortisone (see Additional Considerations below for dosing recommendations) (AIII).

No it is not. They're claiming that Trump's in great condition, is not on oxygen machines, and might be discharged as soon as Monday. If he is in fact taking dexamethasone, that implies that he's in much worse condition. The guideline you quoted is warning against giving it to patients unless they're on death's doorstep.

Oddly mixed messaging from Dr. Conley. He also admitted today to lying about Trump's condition yesterday, so nothing he says can be trusted anyway.

Of course, I already suspected as much yesterday when he made the incredibly generous comment about the president being "slightly overweight"
