This idiot set back conservatism 25 years. I mean idiot as in dumb. You will be older than Trump before there is a comeback.

    You should be angry.
    Strongly disagree.

Trump's flaws come in the form of behavior and demeanor -- not policy.

His policy has been pretty standards modern conservative stuff, and while that may not be your cup of tea, that's the way he governed. Another Republican in office wouldn't have been too much different than Trump, policy-wise. I did respect his willingness to attempt to keep campaign promises, and to attempt to get things done. Some things became law, some didn't, as is always the case with any President, but he really did follow through with a lot of what he said he'd do, and it was rarely very extreme. In fact, Trump's Christianity was only for show, and in reality he's not at all religious. This kept him away from typical "religious right" issues which many liberals have whined about for years. On that front, Trump was the best they could hope for, if a Republican was going to be President.

Any "recovery" required would be from Trump's personality, which will become much less of an issue once he leaves office in either 2021 or 2025. And that recovery would happen quickly, because he won't be the de facto head of the party anymore. It's not like there's a second Trump type waiting in the wings. He's one of a kind.

No one is surprised by Chris Wallace. He's a known never Trumper. Wallace also said that Dr. Atlas is not an epidemiologist so shouldn't be making comments on Trumps health. Well, Wallace is not an epidemiologist either. And guess what, neither are Fauci or Birx.

Really bending over backwards these days Druff. It shouldn't be this hard you know.

On the bright side, he's really only campaigning on rhetoric alone now. So, if he wins, you'll be able to point out he never said he would actually do anything when people criticize him for not getting anything done.

I've been following presidents since John Kennedy. I've never seen a President get as much done in one term as Trump has. The unexpected coronavirus has knocked us back some but we can definitely overcome it with the right leader in the next four years. Biden is selling pie in the sky. He's going to create jobs and raise taxes too. LOLOL!!

Trump has gotten a lot done in the past 4 years. And his 200 Federal Judge appointments along with the 3 SCOTUS picks should keep the marxists at bay for another 30 years. That alone is one hell of a legacy. I hope he wins again but if he doesn't I think he put this country on a pretty good course correction in just 4 years.

the only reason i think _any_ of these people have covid is because kellyanne's daughter said her mom is positive.

if not for her, at best id be like 40% sure any of this is true.

Presidents are not kings. They can only push through some of their attempted legislative goals. But many just spout promises, and then don't even attempt it.

A good example was moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem. This has been promised for decades by candidates, including GW Bush and Barack Obama. Never happened. Never attempted. Trump got it done.

Also that Trump got us into no new wars (remember he libs insisting he was going to bring on WWIII), and in general has reduced military action, compared to his predecessors.

I'm also happy to see that he isn't intimidated by these international organizations like the UN and WHO. These have been off-limits to question up until Trump's Presidency, despite some very real flaws with both, especially from the standpoint of American interests.

In some ways, Trump not giving a shit about backlash and doing what he feels is right is refreshing. As I said, policy-wise, I was mostly pleased with how he governed.

I do think he's a narcissist, is not a nice guy, and is willing to throw formerly loyal people under the bus in order to save his own ass. Trump isn't a man I'd want as a friend or a boss.

Would I still rather have him in charge than Biden or any other Democrat? You bet.

bawh, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

thoughts and prayers, best wishes and congratulations for all those tiny corona viruses

    be the bat

worked the phone most of friday. setup a trump solidarity afternoon for Sunday at a local restaurant that's veteran friendly. easy to pull off in this flaming red county. no masks allowed. trump devotees shooting the shit in a smallish conference room. enlisted the help of facebook users to spread the word, encourage the open display of firearms and invited the local tv media. of course i'm not going.

trump lacked the time to be painted orange before walking to the helicopter. just a little slip.

Damn these conservatives can sure drink the Trump kool-aid like his name was Jim Jones. He hasn't done jack shit except divide this country with his lies, racism, and mishandling of the pandemic. I believe his first 3 things he promised to do when elected was to make Mexico pay for a wall, lock up Hillary, and repeal Obamacare. 4 years later.....he's built a few miles of faulty wall and Mexico ain't paid shit for it, Hillary is free as a bird and probably hoping this fucker dies soon from the karma of him mocking her pneumonia, and he has yet to come up with a plan to replace the Affordable Care Act. Worst president ever AINEC.
