Documentary sounds like bullshit, and this is coming from a guy who thinks a lot was covered up about this mass shooting.

Among my problems with the conclusions being raised in it (according to the description posted above):

1) Paddock had scouted other locations to commit mass shootings, including one in Chicago, and including the Life is Beautiful festival in Vegas, where his planned hotel stay didn't involve a casino. He backed out of both for different reasons, and ultimately chose Mandalay Bay.

2) Eric Paddock always came off as a weirdo in the interviews I've seen with him, so his word really means nothing..

3) LOL @ interviewing a bellhop about casino patrons getting screwed by MGM. I believe that the bellhop witnessed a variety of things which are very commonplace among disgruntled gamblers at major casinos, including gamblers misunderstanding their casino offer/promo, gamblers feeling more entitled to comps and perks than they really should be, idiotic casino employees misunderstanding offers either at the time they were made or when the gambler gets there, and general bureaucratic incompetence. I've witnessed all four in my time staying at casino hotels (and responding to offers given to me).

Suffice to say this wasn't Paddock trying to get back at MGM. It is possible that he shot off all of his money at video poker and was resentful, and wanted to hurt randoms as a result. But this wasn't aimed at MGM. (Why did we never get a clear picture of his finances?)

Furthermore, Paddock was generally just an asshole. He was routinely seen being degrading to his girlfriend in public, and he tried to sue the Cosmo after what seemed to be a simple trip-and-fall situation. I've tripped and fell in casinos before. Wasn't their fault, so I didn't consider suing anyone. I once had a huge gash on my hand created from a Rio employee opening up a bathroom door too quickly as I was about to walk out. I didn't report anything because it was a freak accident and I didn't want the poor guy losing his job. I fell and broke 3 ribs in Caesars. I didn't sue them because it happened due to my own illness where I fainted. Paddock, on the other hand, tripped and decided to exploit the situation.

Basically the guy was a jerk before any of this happened, and then he flipped out for whatever reason and decided to kill as many people as possible.
