I think you don't see the cult that the left has become because:
1) It's your own side, so it's tougher to look at it critically.
2) You're not a member of it. There's no question you're on the left, but I've never seen you take the mocking and angry tone I've seen from others here when I'm debating with them about something, and I've even seen you criticize the left on occasion when you feel it's acting stupid.
