Made some laughable predictions, Albeit way less laughable than many. Took it fully seriously when it hit Italy. Like First week in February. Kept waiting for a first world country. Was excited by Thailand seeing success with HIV drugs. Tine just kept nailing the 14 day incubation rate and NY subways and every aspect of this thing before it happened. I have many, many friends who work in NYC and live in the burbs...
cannot fucking believe that nobody caught any of this shit...

I'm not saying this isn't a big deal. But it's not a population-altering event.
And right now is anything but "business as usual".
-I'm not sure that the very roughly 300,000 or so living WWII vets who served along side of the 400,000 who died in the war would feel that their service is being properly valued. The youngest of these vets would be well into their 80s and most would probably be in their 90s. This is not to mention Korean War vets and especially Vietnam vets who probably plan on living a good deal longer.
