1 person got let go last week.

2 people got let go today. One was in the same role as I, but because I crushed it, it kinda put a spotlight on how shitty he was and they chose to ax him.

Companies are going to be trimming the fat and these unemployment #'s will only be compounded next month

I should add she brings glasses. We ain’t gonna drink outta the box. Is that what you thought?

It’s going to be a real comedy show tomorrow when they announce unemployment of 6.5 million versus 300,000 last month in the market shoots up 4% at the bell

    Can’t fight Fed infinite $

    See what happens
I just dumped back into HSD today (double bear S&P 500 for those who haven't been playing along).

I expect a sea of red tomorrow. Paging Tellafriend are you back on board again?

San do you think infinite FED money puts S&P sub 2000 out of play?

LOL, yes indeed I'm keeping up with you Simp. I've run pure San:

Wish these showed the time of purchase but you can take my word it was around 3:30 and then another 100 around 3:45.

    03/25/20 Bought 100 of SPXU @ $26.145 -2,614.50
    03/25/20 Bought 250 of SPXU @ $26.399 -6,599.75

I didn't trade yesterday. But take a look at my timing on Monday:

    03/23/20 Sold 250 of SQQQ @ $29.825 (Order #51) 7,456.05
    03/23/20 Sold 100 of SPXU @ $39.965 (Order #34) 3,996.40
    03/23/20 Bought 250 of SQQQ @ $30.1709 (Order #50) -7,542.73
    03/23/20 Sold 500 of NUGT @ $6.7601 (Order #41) 3,379.91
    03/23/20 Sold 250 of SPXU @ $42.1219 10,530.21
    03/23/20 Bought 250 of SPXU @ $40.37 (Order #48) -10,092.50

I screwed up selling the NUGT. Oh well.

    Thursday = Redrum

Stimulus passed, although we already all knew it would.

Let's see how that plays vs unemployment #s.

So out of 330 million, about 70 million may get a $1,200 check.

As for small business, they will file a claim asking for $400K of projected losses and may get $100K if they are lucky.

As for large business, they get bailed out, whatever they need.

$2 Trillion could have been around $6,000 to everybody but the politicians really don’t give a fuck.

What I want to know is what happens when all of this gets paid back.

The $$ going to People is a loan against next years tax return. The $$ going to business, if they take it with the rules in place, will be paid back.

Will the govt take the money and pay down debit with it?

    You are actually mentally handicapped.

By my quick math I count almost 200 million Americans who will be accounted for and getting stimulus.

I don’t think this is correct is it? My understanding is that the payout eligibility is determined using most recent tax return filed (2018 or 19) but actual eligibility will be based on 2020 income so at next years filing deadline it will be reconciled and you may have to pay back money, no change, or possibly receive more. And if that’s the case it’s hard to imagine a high percentage of people making more money this year than either of the last two.

Also if I’m not mistaken the $500 per child payout is irrespective of income with no phaseout.

Yeah, this. It's not a loan. But it'll be clawed back if, for instance, you made $50k in 2018, but $100k in 2020.

Companies are going to be trimming the fat and these unemployment #'s will only be compounded next month

More great news, just got told that salaries will be cut by 10-25% depending on pay level. Since, I am the newest one, I fully expect to get shafted on the 25% mark.

You're the cheapest one. Negotiate to keep your same salary.
