most small businesses can't just afford to take on a huge new loan payment once business goes back to normal. it's not like a restaurant that has to close for two months will take on 3 times as many customers to make up for it once it reopens. that money is gone

Same here. This is both necessary, too late, and too early all at once. That’s hard to pull off. I can’t imagine it’s better in 3 weeks. I think it’s markedly worse everywhere in NA. I would be surprised if kids get back to school before mid-May. I just think once they put everything online for schools and they’re sitting there on April 1 making a decision, it’s going to seem stupid to send them back.
