i'm obv a political junkie. yes i saw what he said.
i'm going to be honest with you. i think there's a chance trump didn't even see pics of the rally at the time and -- shockingly -- spoke without thinking. he may have just thought, conceptually, that a person against the lee monument being taken down is not necessarily a bad person, which is fine.
when you actually see pics of the rally, it's a much harder case to make.
also, if really was a david duke organized event, that just makes it worse
you know what, i didn't add that popcorn emoji but i'm leaving it to show druff his site is randomly adding emojis to my posts to make me look like some kind of asshole.
yep, just out here adding popcorn emojis looking like a complete douche
Has any POTUS done more for Israel and the Jews than Trump?
Only an anti-Semite would want him out of office.
(((Are you awake now, goy?)))
Duke didn't organize it. But it was reported he was planning on being a surprise speaker, and he was there. I was making the point that it was organized by White Supremacists, for White Supremacists.
Richard Spencer ,one of the more well known Neo Nazis, was the headline speaker. (Pretty sure all the speakers were some flavor of White Supremacists.)
It was also all over national news the day before. "Big White Supremacists rally in Charlottesville Tomorrow, Antifa gets permit for counter protest, looks like shits going down" stuff like that.
Some Posters:
The "good people on both sides" thing is yet another case of the media being unfair to Trump.
Again, Trump says a lot of obnoxious and un-Presidential things which DO deserve scorn and criticism, but not this. The media portrayed it as support for white supremacists, but in reality Trump thought he was making unifying speech where he was trying to validate peaceful protest for both the left and right.
I'll be honest. When Trump started trotting out the "fake news" excuse in order to dismiss fair and justified criticism directed at him, I was annoyed, and I was even more annoyed at fellow conservatives who parroted such claims. However, life has imitated art over the past 3+ years, and now indeed a lot of the negative coverage of Trump has become fake news.
Sad!
Antifa rioting in London tonight.
Because, very fine people.
honestly i should invoice you mental cripples just for reading these posts.
"Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness." - Alejandro Jodorowsky
"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs
How do you think the white supremacists interpreted the comment?
I've been listening to you since the travis makar interview on donkdown and reading your forum posts since NWP. Your political views and general attitude involving anything regarding politics has had a massive shift in the past ~2+ years. It's disturbing. 2017 Druff would never bend over backwards to defend anyone the way you have been defending Trump. I really think it's your perception that has changed more so than the media. I'm not saying they haven't changed also. Just that it's being magnified by your own changes.
Please consider balancing your conservative media intake with some 'fake news'.
edit: sweet popcorn bug lol
Now these are what Donald Trump would call "very fine people".
I have yet to see or overhear 1 person talking about impeachment IRL. and ppl seem to be quite curious of the "how are the dems so bad, is this all some sort of illuminati scam or what?" theory
Not sure how the popcorn thing happened. It's the first time I've seen it.
I haven't been bending over backwards to defend Trump. Even in the past 2 months, you'll see criticism from me against him, and I've even been making fun of stupid and frankly dishonest-looking campaign e-mails I've been receiving.
At the same time, I can't deny what I'm seeing. The media is unfairly attacking him at every turn, to where they're drowning themselves out regarding the legitimate criticism he actually deserves.
I am also seeing radical left positions go more and more mainstream with Democrats. I'm talking about transgender 4-year-olds, 8.5 month abortion rights, "free" college for anyone, arbitrary college debt forgiveness, UBI, wealth tax, socialized healthcare (with no attempt to control costs first), hate speech laws, 52 genders, Muslim terrorist apologism/denial, gun control, cancel culture, etc.
Most of this didn't even exist 5 years ago, aside from mostly ignored rhetoric by the most extreme fringe left.
At this point, my choices are either to support a flawed Republican Party and its flawed President, or support Democrats and these crazy terrible ideas.
I only seem more extreme to you because I'm more vocal in my opposition to the increasing nuttiness from the left.
