Interviewer:

Poker is a game where people sit down at the table with money and the objective is for the players to get all the other players money. Full Tilt Poker was a company formed by and owned by poker players. The owners received over $400M in distributions and there is no money left to cover the player deposits. How do you respond?

Howard:

You know - I just don't know. I know at the beginning when we were a California company I knew everything that was going on. Once the company moved to Dublin, I guess I lost touch with what was going on. I do know I was pretty busy at the time supervising construction on my house. Interviewer:

You have said that Ray told you about the backlog and that it was in the nine figure range. How did you react when you heard that?

Howard:

Well, you know - I really can't recall exactly. I know we were at Ray's place - and he just kind of came out with it. I was surprised. I think Chris was there too. Yes that's right. I do know that I had to catch a flight in a couple of hours. And this kind of thing doesn't just sink in right away. I know I was thinking about whether I had the right power adapter in my suitcase for where I was going, and I did check my smartphone to see the weather forecast. You know - there was just so much going on at that time. I know I had to tape a show as well. I really don't know.
