cnn poll has biden now with an absurd 24-point lead over the next closest dem (bernie sanders)
https://www.mediaite.com/election-20...-new-cnn-poll/
possibly, but also what might be happening is that the other candidates are taking from each other. biden (and maybe klobuchar) is the only centrist in the race, while bernie and warren, for example, have the same voting block.
biden needs all of them to stay in the primary for as long as possible.
It’s going to be Biden.
its way too early to read anything into the data out there but yeah it feels like biden.
id prefer bernie because if bernie loses, it proves conclusively that left-of-center dems dont have the juice to win. but yeah it will probably be biden.

just one book's opinion...interesting to me anyway...surprised to see bernie running that close to biden...
What were Trump's odds to be the Republican nominee in April 2015?
I prefer Biden because he can actually win. Biden is palatable to a lot of us that occupy the wide middle, even if we're typically to the right of center.
This isn't about pushing a preposterous, Marxist-progressive agenda. This is about removing a mendacious, vindictive, amoral buffoon from the White House.
But if the D's are dumb enough to nominate a socialist then that mendacious, vindictive, amoral buffoon will somehow once again get my vote.
I will never be less enthusiastic to wake up and vote for someone than I will be Biden should be emerge. And I’m not some SJW-level leftist. For the life of me I’ll never understand wtf Bernie ever did to black women. They truly must not listen to a fucking word and just go by gut feel or some bullshit because Bernie would literally increase the quality of their life massively while Joe wouldn’t do a fucking thing for them. Bernie also polls particularly poorly amongst 65+, but that’s understandable given they were raised with socialist boogeyman rhetoric and don’t understand the distinction between a dem socialist and a standard 1940s socialist.
Trump is extraordinarily weak right now, yet we are running this milquetoast old man against him. The only silver lining to having this fat fuck President was I assumed the pendulum would swing hard the other way after a term of him and we could accomplish twenty years of gradual progress in short order. Tbh, given how pathetic this field is, if not for the SC getting stacked by mong religious conservatives, I’d almost prefer another 4 years of trump. A lot
Of these guys and their idiotic policy doesn’t really become apparent until the second term. I could easily see Biden winning only to lose to a Nikki Haley after one term with nothing accomplished. I can’t believe this sorry ass group is the best we can put forward.
Cenk Uygar has been saying for years that the establishment Dems are “paid to lose”. Not too far from the truth, meaning they’d rather lose to the GOP as long they don’t lose their wealthy donors and get the occassional social issue table scrap. But the Trump/Religious right coalition has run roughshod over getting even those table scraps. So, now, they gotta hope that Joe Biden can rally enough Dems and “swing voters” in the primaries to keep Our Revolutuon (Team Bernie and allied progressives) from taking the heart and soul of the Democratic Party away from them.
it's amazing how so many democrats are lining up to get in the race because think trump is vulnerable, despite the economy
the only other time i can recall this happening was 2016 when literally every republican on earth wanted to run against hillary
my point being, if biden runs and loses, talking the bernie bro's and shill stein voters out of pursuing moderate candidates is totally over for like 2 or 3 generations.
if bernie runs and loses we get to say "you tried it your way, now sit at the grownup table."

final five is going to be bernie, biden, buttigieg, warren and super dark horse pick
