I have 5.5 BTC and watching it fall today.
I kept trying to wait for 3500 to sell but now it's going the other way.
Not so funny to see the decline when I'm actually holding some.

druff , still holding out for 3500?
In before his post he sold at a loss at 3400 and now its 3500
Been hovering in the 3610-3620 range for a bit now.
I'm going on a hike in not too long. I am going to sell before I start that hike, because I don't want to see that it tanks while I'm hiking (if I even have service to see such a thing) and be powerless to do anything.
If it rockets up to 4k, then so be it.
Last time I timed it pretty well, selling at 4k, and then it peaked at 4080 before crashing to 3500 that same day.
If I sold right now, I'd still make money, so I'm satisfied enough with that.
Druff please don't gamble, your track record on predicting this is awful.
Actually recently it hasn't been.
As I mentioned earlier, the last time I had BTC I timed it almost perfectly, waiting awhile til it hit 4k, selling right then, and then after peaking at 4080, it fell sharply to 3500 or whatever.
Also I resisted bailing out yesterday when it was 3340 or whatever, and seemed to be on its way further down.
Well, I'm going hiking. I haven't sold yet.
Hopefully I don't come back to find it's crashed.
Well I had spotty reception while hiking and I saw it dropping.
Knew 3600 might be a resistance point but was about to go out of service & didn't want to chance it. Sold 3593-3598.
Now it's 3625. Blah. At least I hiked the remainder in peace.
Here's what happened.
I left the house and it was at like 3628 or something. Right before I left, it fell to like 3611, popped back to 3634, and then sat at 3628-3629 for some time.
So I thought maybe it's going to start creeping back up, so I said I'd just check back in on the trail.
Well, of course I get there and the fucking thing has slipped to 3606 or something. I said, "Time to sell", but I had a shit signal and couldn't access the exchange well enough.
Ben's mom suggest we hike to the top of a hill so I could get a signal, which we did, and about halfway up, I got enough of a signal to sell. I saw it fall to 3599 and said, "I bet 3600 is going to be a resistance point, it will fall a bit below that, and then pop back up some."
Problem was that I didn't want to have no service for the rest of the hike in case it crashed, so I decided just to sell at 3599 and eat whatever it might pop back up, just for peace of mind.
Well, because of the shit signal, I wasn't able to sell fast enough, so about 80% sold at 3593. Then I lost signal again and the next thing I saw, it was 3600 (but I had no BTC), and I knew obviously it was going to go back up.
Sure enough it rose to 3625, but since then it has slipped a bit and sits at 3612, so I don't feel all that bad.
I got about half my BTC at 3560 and the other half around 3450, so at least I profited, even after the lol 1% commission on the sale.
bitcoin BACK
I wouldn't quite say that, but it is over 4000 for the first time in awhile.
It was stuck in the 3300-3600 range for quite some time.
We'll see if badguy's prediction of it hitting 5k is true (he predicted this when it went to 3800 about 5 days ago).
I think we're going to see some volatility in the coming days, either way. May rocket up to 5k, may crash back down to 3500. Not a good time to hit the cashout button on Bovada if you don't like to gamble with bitcoin value!
I don’t understand why you are saying this. By holding onto bitcoin in Bovada, you are subjecting yourself to the volatility in bitcoin price. That is tantamount to gambling on its value. Meaning, you are gambling that the price will most likely rise “in the coming days” and remain at that higher price long enough for get a better cashout price than today. Otherwise, you would cash out now to avoid it expectedly or otherwise dropping in value.
4100 still speculating? Such a gamble, lol if it bops to 3600 will have sellers remorse
